Session 7 was cool in a vacuum, but having a single person’s task define the whole session, especially one so radically different from the norm, was perhaps not the greatest idea in the world.
Session 7's tasks needed to be diluted over the course of the season. It was just too many high-chaos tasks in one session, which prevented people from having a fair chance with their task. Like Scar's task for example: great in a normal session, but quickly overshadowed by the boogey apocalypse.
Session 7 was chaotic and really fun but the tasks being overridden was disappointing cause there were some very fun tasks we didn’t get to experience.

Firstly, the boogeyman task in session 7 kinda took the appeal of the season away for me. People with interesting tasks had their tasks discarded, and I found the PoVs of people who turned into zombies pretty boring after the first one, as there wasn't really anything new when watching multiple of them. i feel the opposite, the red lives' tasks often bring chaos and excitement to the server! maybe you might be more of a fan of hermitcraft videos where there's funny banter and a more relaxed vibe haha
Session 7 and session 2 have been my favorites so far! One of my favorite aspects of the Life series is that it has both the wacky, funny, sitcom moments but also the epic and dramatic lore moments. Of course, there's going to be a shift from more of one side to more of the other as the episodes progress, but I think that's what makes the series so cool, is that it still feels like a natural change as things evolve. edit: I watched session 8 and that's got to be a w for both aspects! Loved Salty Guardian Angel Jim
I loved session 7. It was hilarious, especially Skizz's reaction to Cleo at the end when Grian called it and Cleo came out of hiding going, "Wah, wah, wah..."
I noticed that Tango sounded like Ren, but shrugged it off because I didn't remember what Tango's voice sounds like. It didn't dawn on me that it was actually Ren until I saw the memes.
Session 7 could've been one of the craziest episode with everyone's task before the apocalypse. It's a shame that all of those were tossed away just to make way for Gem's task
Four main reason people disliked ep 7 *the zombie task should have been given to a red name because it left the red name out * abruptly ended green tasks as they couldn’t do their task which ruined a lot of interesting task *felt forced and many thought it was because you guys wanted to end the series fast for Christmas (fair but people wanted it to be done in a different way) *felt like they were scar the villain just because they didn’t want to give him allies(not true since the tasks were random but people still felt ruining a person entire plan was bad) *felt a need for a reward for all survivors( a Big one)
I feel like people who say the first point don’t realize that if a red name had the original task, they would DIE. If Gem was red when she had that task, she lost a ton of hearts trying to kill Scar and then later when Scar was on her side he accidentally killed her (it was neither of their faults imo) IF SHE WAS RED SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE SERIES. You can’t put a red life in constant danger like that you need to give them a choice to keep it safe. Plus boogeymen are supposed to not be red and not kill reds so if a red name had the task it would go against the theme. I’ve never heard anyone complain about the Scar task thing personally but I mean I think it’s hilarious as a Scar fan. + he could purposely fail if he wanted there’s no consequence. Imo the problem with the boogey task is that it was practically impossible lol. You can’t expect them to be able to kill the entire server minus one (technically minus 2 since Gem didn’t need to die either) in a single session with added rules like “the most recently infected must participate in the next kill” But you know, they DID need something to speed up the series and it was fun soo no need to complain
18:59 I don't believe Scar was aimlessly running around. He was getting the Wither to do as much damage as possible. Scar was a genius. Blow up everyone's bases while being a victim yourself.
This season genuinely was the best one for me. I regret not seeing this season first ( because now I know who won before watching the end of the season, but I would’ve been so out of the loop ) but this is the season I wanted to watch immediately. This is amazing and same with the content! Keep up the good work!
Session 7 made it so basically all the tasks from the start of the episode were null and void because the boogeyman curse replaced the current task someone had. It made the start of people's episodes completely pointless. And watching 10+ POVs of the same thing gets kinda boring after a while.
Anyone thought about that time in Hermitcraft Season 8 when Grian was on Cub’s massive stalagmite and reciting the very cat meme that was in the session 7 meme compilation
18:45 That meme really should be “Grian and Scott weren’t infected” and the “Cleo was never infected either” because people keep excluding them from being a survivor because she died, forgetting that it wasn’t to the cursed
Funny task that we can't do cause everyone's red talk normally but when finishing a sentence act like the sentence isn't over yet and you still have more to say then don't say anything else you don't have to do this every time just as much as you can
I did like the drama of Gem's apocalypse task, and I know it was probably implemented so the series doesn't extend through the holidays, but I was a bit disappointed that it overrode other tasks that were super entertaining to watch.

Etho's dishwasher is the name of the warden
Ren saying “I turned my bow into a dispenser!!” is the most underrated moment of that episode by far
We're so used to the usual chase-and-kill formula that this season somehow became simultaneously the least and most chaotic season of the life series.
Ah yes the solidarity "Shorts" channel
😂😂😂
XD
the fact that jimmy didn't get the that's hot meme had me dying 💀
I loved session 7's chaos, but so far session 8 is best imo. Specifically Grian's POV xD
Crosses are abandoned tasks because they fell to the apocalypse.
Jimmy when 14 people are still alive 2 episode after he died:
I loved the fact that YOU were Grians ghost
Session 7 and session 2 have been my favorites so far! One of my favorite aspects of the Life series is that it has both the wacky, funny, sitcom moments but also the epic and dramatic lore moments. Of course, there's going to be a shift from more of one side to more of the other as the episodes progress, but I think that's what makes the series so cool, is that it still feels like a natural change as things evolve.
edit: I watched session 8 and that's got to be a w for both aspects! Loved Salty Guardian Angel Jim
I love this reacting to secret life memes series!
I loved session 7. It was hilarious, especially Skizz's reaction to Cleo at the end when Grian called it and Cleo came out of hiding going, "Wah, wah, wah..."
The crossed tasks were those invalidated by the boogeyman task.
I noticed that Tango sounded like Ren, but shrugged it off because I didn't remember what Tango's voice sounds like. It didn't dawn on me that it was actually Ren until I saw the memes.
6:24 DUDE THE FUNNY PART IS THAT THE LION’S NAME IS ACTUALLY SCAR IN THE MOVIE
13:45 - Meme: Warden in session 7 did literally nothing.
Immy: Wait, what did Warden do in session 7?
Meme: Warden in session 7 did literally nothing.
I burst into laughter when the voice said “Gimmy” instead of “Jimmy”😂😂
Session 7 could've been one of the craziest episode with everyone's task before the apocalypse. It's a shame that all of those were tossed away just to make way for Gem's task
Four main reason people disliked ep 7
*the zombie task should have been given to a red name
because it left the red name out
* abruptly ended green tasks as they couldn’t do their task which ruined a lot of interesting task
*felt forced and many thought it was because you guys wanted to end the series fast for Christmas (fair but people wanted it to be done in a different way)
*felt like they were scar the villain just because they didn’t want to give him allies(not true since the tasks were random but people still felt ruining a person entire plan was bad)
*felt a need for a reward for all survivors( a Big one)
You can’t expect them to be able to kill the entire server minus one (technically minus 2 since Gem didn’t need to die either) in a single session with added rules like “the most recently infected must participate in the next kill”
But you know, they DID need something to speed up the series and it was fun soo no need to complain
here is a little meme about session 8:
grian dying and turning red: "how can it get worse?"
the tnt minecart:
18:59 I don't believe Scar was aimlessly running around. He was getting the Wither to do as much damage as possible. Scar was a genius. Blow up everyone's bases while being a victim yourself.
They didn’t name the warden so went into the ground
This season genuinely was the best one for me. I regret not seeing this season first ( because now I know who won before watching the end of the season, but I would’ve been so out of the loop ) but this is the season I wanted to watch immediately. This is amazing and same with the content! Keep up the good work!
The new curse will be everytime Mumbo joins the Life SMP, he dies after Jimmy dies
Session 7 made it so basically all the tasks from the start of the episode were null and void because the boogeyman curse replaced the current task someone had. It made the start of people's episodes completely pointless. And watching 10+ POVs of the same thing gets kinda boring after a while.
The crossed out tasks were tasks that were voided because they got “infected” by the boogeyman curse from Gem
Grian task felt like the task manager error " YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MY GUARDIAN ANGEL"
You got Bdubs with the glass in the water this week. So funny watching him falling and yelling that's glass!!
*Session 6:* It filled my Chaotic Side!
*Session 7:* Man, this is a good Horror Movie!
Yes more reactions!
19:59 For context, it only took "wrong place, wrong time" number of arrows
I loved session 7. Everything falling apart and then the meeting of, "By the way, it's an apocalypse."
Ren had a single heart while running circles around the fight area and somehow did not die
Yes I was hoping someone would use the Monty Python “I’m not dead yet” for a meme for that
Ooohhhhh I've been following them for so long it's so cool that someone's reacting to their meme compilations
Grian's inability to be the Boogeyman was actually a good thing for once!
heard some people saying that since lizzy died in the nether instead of the overworld, the canary curse isn't actually broken.
“Why are people laughing at that?”
Me: Because, your Jimmy, you can’t help it
S7 was so chaotic, they needed to have the CCC involved!
2:05 The Warden's sonic blast is targeted and is not AoE. If it isn't targeting you it will not hit you even if the animation goes right through you.
Man i really wish there is gonna be a Last life season 2 after secret life. That series was something else
2:12 Grian very loudly yelled at Mumbo to run away and then again when he died…
Session 7 was like a movie, had to watch everyones POVs.
Session 7 was fun, but I only watched 2 or 3 perspectives which is way less than normal since I already knew what had happened
Honestly, I’m really enjoying this season. It’s wacky and entertaining 😊
I don’t know which one made everything more chaotic, session 6 or the zombie task
The curse was still active, you died and death followed. It just never helped that you were out first
Funny task that we can't do cause everyone's red talk normally but when finishing a sentence act like the sentence isn't over yet and you still have more to say then don't say anything else you don't have to do this every time just as much as you can
It's funny how, if you think about it, Scott was the one who broke the curse
The video: Damn scar got hands
Jimmy: Dammnnn
Comment on stream: Swear alert
Also Jimmy:Oh is there a swear in this video?
24:16 I think it was cool, how Scott was one of the survivors makes me think even more that Scott is gonna come top 3
I did like the drama of Gem's apocalypse task, and I know it was probably implemented so the series doesn't extend through the holidays, but I was a bit disappointed that it overrode other tasks that were super entertaining to watch.
15:29 hey it's me!
Honestly the watcher lore is pretty simple in the end. Wouldnt be too long
I like that season seven pushes the more passive players to do interesting things organically
Session 7 came so naturally it was amazing
The one about Ren was pretty good haha
I liked session 7, watching it go from recovering from session 6 to "Omg Scar why?" to zombie apocalypse is really good
To be honest I thought scar would die first... YET HE WAS STILL GREEN!
1:13
jim's death in limited life tho
