Bobby and Pam were such a romantic couple and I hated what the writers transitioned Pam's character into when she started pursuing this desire to have a baby. She was never the same again and became so sanctimonious.
Goodness she really does make everything about her doesn't she? Life long Dallas fan, but could never take to Victoria. The show wasn't all about her, but she seemed to think it was.
Patrick Duffy's glibness here was offputting. I feel like Victoria deserved a measure of appreciation in a moment like this, and her castmates didn't really step up to the moment.
They shouldn't have had Pam and Donna leaving. Without them it wasn't the same feeling, the show suffered. If Principal refused to come back under all circumstances, they should have given the part to Margaret Michael's who made a one time appearance to tell Cliff Barnes, that Pam will not return. Michaels was a missed opportunity.

I was in college while "Dallas" was on, so I did something unusual. I studied! When there weren't any classes, I'd be studying. So I never saw an episode of the show. But I saw pictures of Patrick Grey and thought he was really hot. Later on, I read that that his parents were murdered. I felt bad for him.
What exactly did she go on to act in post leaving Dallas, that, as you say, she could get her teeth into? Nothing of any significance! (well, nothing I can remember). Ok, she married a plastic surgeon and established her beauty products company, so she didn’t need the money, but sometimes actors get the mistaken assumption that the roles they want are going to start rolling in, only to find out they don’t. Perhaps they should just accept that they are only suitable for certain roles and not get carried away above their station! No offence to VP, ofc, I loved her as Pam Barnes/Ewing.
