Honestly, super sonic is pretty good. Super shadow doesn't run behind either. Super shadow has a higher acceleration than Super sonic which makes him slightly faster. In my opinion, both are good, it just depends how you use them.

I see super shadow his lighting can strick the other runners even if they were far away from him.
super sonic you can't hit anyone if he was far away from them it'd be game over for you.
His lightning is also super easy to dodge
