****MONIKAS REVIEW ***** 1. Beat was melodious and euphonious. Especially the beginning before M came onto the beat it felt otherworldly, almost trancelike. 2. Not a professional but the mix sounded good. Beat didn't overpower the vocals and was understated to good effect. 3. The contrast between the dulcet instrumentals and M's strident and gravelly voice worked very well. 4. Similarly, the contrast between the ethereal melody on the beat and the nihilistic and violent lyrics also worked. 5. It sounded cold on the fleeting instances when the 808s synchronized with his lyrics (don't know the technical term) 6. Ad libs were good as usual, but the lyrics were quite generic, and was probably the weakest aspect of the track. Even though the lyrics were weak, some of the lyrics painted good imagery and were delivered with heart. This sounds like a track where delivery and vehemence of the vocals matters more than the lyricism. -7. The strongest and most resonant part of the lyrics was the "now and again x2". The cadence on that line sounded lyrical, almost literary, in the way he lowered his tone the second time. It had a melancholy vibe to it, as if he has no choice but to "crease his nikeys now and again", as if this life chose him, not the other way around. 8. The production values were excellent and the visuals had a demonic red theme to it which dovetailed well with the lyrics. It had some iconic shots and a but hauntingly beautiful vibe to it.
