    Is this bow any louder than others, I feel that the bow may be faster, but if it is louder, it might negate the speed advantage. Your thoughts.

    I shoot Mathew’s Hoyt and bow tech hands down elite is the best out however I will continue to hunt with all my bows but I just bought the Omni a at 70# 29 inch draw 85 % let off 478 grain arrows and I’m shooting lazers 338 fps hands down truly the fastest bow out and it doesn’t lie like everyone els does about the speed it’s real world hands down best draw cycle hands down best tech with the tuning on the market all this adds up to the best bow on the market out of the v327 I own Hoyt vtm31 and my bow tech sr350 however great bows they just aren’t capable of what this elite Omni’s has achieved

    With the smooth mod, how do you think it compares to the new Bowtech SS 34 when it comes to draw cycle and overall performance ?

    When you shot the enkore, you got 308 with 400gr arrow. So according to your comparison, the enkore was a little faster.

    Just watched a guy shoot that bow last night at 65lbs,80% let off,29-1/2" draw and 370+ grain arrow at an average of 330 fps. It pulls easier at 65 lbs than my brand new SR 350 @ 62 lbs and is 30+ fps faster.All done at a very reputable bow shop run by real bow hunters.

      Finest bow I EVER SHOT ! ...#2 isn't close.
      Shooting Performance: 60#, 26.5" Draw, 77% Let-Off, 300 gr. arrow at 310 FPS !!!
      Punch ^^^^^^ into an Arrow Speed Calculator and SEE WHERE THE IBO SPEED RATING IS !!
      Hold & Balance are Spectacular, Best Grip in the Business.
      This Bow is a **Ghost** post shot, Absolutely NO VIBRATION; it's OTHERWORDLY ! You'll seriously question whether YOU FIRED IT OR NOT !!!
      Don't group single spots with this Bow...unless you like to pay and build new arrows.
      Shot my Best 3D Round EVER yesterday with a Crap Scope - I couldn't miss !!
      If you don't want a New Bow - **DO NOT SHOOT THIS BOW !!!**
      I can assure you with Absolute Certainty, you won't walk out without it.
      Hope it helps,
      John

    Have watched other reviews of this bow. They all fall in line with each other. This review is the odd one if it was set at 70lbs. The one I was able to shoot 28.75" 60lbs 80% was just as fast.

    The one thing I don’t like is elites grip. Just feels strange in my hand. Much rather bowtech and Hoyt’s grips.

    • @douglasvaughn9530
      @douglasvaughn9530 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's possible the grip just doesn't fit your hand and it's also possible you don't have proper hand placement on the grip.
      For me, Elite has the best grip by far as far as hunting bows go. It's more a target style grip which I prefer.

    • @rmarc11
      @rmarc11 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @mikeguy9668
      @mikeguy9668 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats insane to me. Elite has the best grip out there. You can't have bad hand position with elites grip, it locks your hand into place naturally

    • @rmarc11
      @rmarc11 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikeguy9668 biased being you’re an elite shooter. I have an older elite and a Mathews and still most people in my shops that believe hoyt and bowtech have the best grips, so idk why you’d believe it’s insane.

    • @mikeguy9668
      @mikeguy9668 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rmarc11 I believe it's insane because I've got to shoot every flagship bow for the past 15 years. (Old family friend owns pats archery in okmulgee so I'm lucky in that respect) Elite has the flattest back and the taper at the top locks your hand in position (especially on the 2023 bows) you really can't change how the bow sits in your hand without really trying. The majority of the people that come in and shoot one say they like the grip above any other, now they may buy another bow for one reason or another but I haven't heard much debate over the grip. Now if a man likes a more rounded grip then yeah elite won't be for them. That's my 2 cents and you damn sure don't have to agree, but for the record I'm no brand loyalist by no means

  • @halfstep67
    @halfstep67 ปีที่แล้ว

    At 29" and 70 pounds with a 350-grain arrow, it shot 320 FPS. Add 10 FPS for a 30" draw length and it makes it a 330 FPS bow. That is 17 FPS slower than advertised speeds. Elite has always overrated their IBO speeds more than other bow manufacturers. Besides that, Elite makes some great tuning and shooting bows.

    • @Makka316
      @Makka316 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The test in this video is at 29" at 90% let off. Elite's IBO spec is based on 30" at 80% let off. On the Podium Archer channel he got 337fps at 30" and 90% let off. Unfortunately he didn't do a test at 80% let off to compare but, as a comparison, based on his recent tests with the new Mathews and Hoyt bows those models were further off their IBO ratings then the Omnia. That's not a poke at those other manufacturers as all of the manufacturers are off their spec to various degrees simply because the IBO rating test is not a real world test.

    • @halfstep67
      @halfstep67 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Makka316 It was 320 FPS at 29" which would be another 10 FPS at 30" making it 330 FPS but rated at 347 FPS. Going from 90% let off to 80% let off isn't going to make much, if any, difference in the IBO speeds because going from 90% to 80% will shorten the draw length and cancel out any speed gains. The new Mathews Phase4 is rated at 340 FPS and shoots 330 FPS at 30". It is off by 10 FPS. The new Hoyt VTM is falling within 10 FPS of its advertised speeds. It is shooting 333 FPS and is rated at 342 FPS. The new Bowtech bows are falling an impressive 5 FPS from their advertised speeds.

    • @davemartin660
      @davemartin660 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@halfstep67 so basically they all shoot similar speed and it going to be what fits the shooter better cause ibo means nothing at that point it has been just a advertising number that very few bows hit anyways.

    • @halfstep67
      @halfstep67 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@davemartin660 The IBO numbers are an effective selling point. Bow manufacturers have played upon it for years. If it wasn't an important issue, Elite wouldn't be padding the numbers so much. Some bow manufacturers in the past have actually made the 30" draw length hotter in comparison to the other draw lengths in order to appear faster. Most everyone knows that the bow manufacturers usually don't get their advertised IBO speeds due to the testing standards, but most get within 10 FPS. It's when they get their advertised IBO speeds off by over 10 FPS does it usually come back to bite them in the butt. I have owned an Elite bow before, a GT500, and it was way off on its advertised speeds as well. I was disappointed by the amount of discrepancy in the advertised IBO speeds vs. real world speeds. It wasn't even close. I sold it and bought a bow just as fast with better specs.

    • @davemartin660
      @davemartin660 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@halfstep67 see I could care less about the specs any company gives out. I go by what it does in real life, I just go off what feels good first then worry about speed like now I will be buying an omina because for the speed and draw cycle and better holding over bowtech, mattews, Martin, Hoyt and a couple others I shot last week. I'll give the companies credit in advertising but I never look at the specs they release but that's me if everyone get caught up in that, then it's their problem for believe what they say when it's been like this for years. So I don't feel sorry when I hear from other the specs say this but I only get this. The only reason I'm looking for a new bow is cause my old alphamax's limbs have started delaminating and feel like I need to replace it.
