Also fastest way to ripen a mango is by covering them with raw rice and putting it I'm a clean container. I forgot how long it takes for it to ripen, but for me it usually takes 2 or 3 days. I recommend the Carabao Mango from my country, the Philippines! Philippine mangoes are incredibly sweet, along with many other fruits due to the warm climate, which also is the reason why us Filipinos have sweet foods, such as the Jolibee spaghetti.
Mexico has a mango that is called Manila and it’s waaaaaay better than ataulfo. It’s just pure sweetness. It descended from the mangoes from the Philippines on a trade between Mexico in the 1500s, hence the name Manila

It’s the only thing I ate for breakfast for like 3 days in a row, lol. Almost tasted like candy! I believe they were the ataulfo mangos, I happened to go during the mango season. Egyptian/Sudanese They're all pretty sweet and juicy like you don't have to chew, except for the Egyptian/Sudanese, the ones I tried are pretty sour and hairy and it's a struggle to eat unlike the breeze which is other mangoes

In Taiwan there is a kind called the Jinhuang mango- they’re massive (they’re like the length of my forearm big) and super sweet. I’ve seem one ONCE in my life in Canada at Hmart and it was quite disappointing lol. You really do need to eat local. Here in Canada tho I always look forward to Australian mango season at the Asian grocers ahaha. They’re also reaaally good.

When it comes to Chaunsa or Sindhri V Kesar or Alphonso, I'd give the edge to Pakistan, specifically the Chaunsa, which is the sweetest and juiciest in the world. Second would be Kesar, third would be Alphonso, and fourth would be Sindhri. If there's one thing Pakistan does better than India, it's mangoes. Dates (kazooran) as well, you guys have fabulous dates, even though the Palestinian medjool dates are the best I've ever had. But our cricket team is better than yours so that makes up for it! 😅😊

I personally think a good mango both needs to be sweet and sour otherwise its too 1 dimensional, as well as soft but not too soft to the point its mushy, and also tons of juice, but that's my opinion

I personally think a good mango both needs to be sweet and sour otherwise its too 1 dimensional, as well as soft but not too soft to the point its mushy, and also tons of juice, but that's my opinion
