    Can you provide a video on the profit margins of these services? This all sounds good but at the end of the day is the effort worth it based on the profit margins?

    Thanks for all the videos! I just started (yesterday) thanks to watching your videos and advice. got a few designs going on teepublic and got apprentice which is fine to start :D..Can't find any of my designs tho unless I have the link taking me straight to them :(
    staying positive tho :D hopefully in a few weeks I'll be able to find them in one of the 50 pages it has haha. Thanks again!

    Greg, thanx for another straightforward tutorial!
    I'd like if you do videos on platforms such as spring, spreadshop, zazzle and fourthwall.
    They still do the cust service for the shops, but we have to do our own marketing, unlike pod marketplaces.
    I wish to know if for example spring, if u cld show us how to start a store or if spring still allows multiple stores in the dashboard with one login.
    And because its like our own store with no competition, are we able to sell our spring stores, or transfer the acct ro someone else? Like selling the business.
    Thanx for everyrhing Greg!

    Thank you very much man, your videos are always full of knowledge. I am wondering, what are your thoughts on those who uses design and upload automation? Like they can create and upload 100s of designs per day.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Great question! I don’t personally recommend them because the big print on demand websites easily confuse it for spam and can take your account down. I know people use them on very large established accounts but that’s something that comes after years and I still think it’s risky.

    Hi Greg! Can you please shed some light on setting up the pricing part of the merchandise on Teepublic?

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In regards to setting the price, on Teepublic the price is set for you (so they can run sales and promotions). However, on all the other sites we are able to set our own prices and therefore determine how big our profit margin is per item.

    I saw an earlier video of yours a few years back, and was intrigued . Unfortunately, I watched some other POD Etsy videos, went down that rabbit -hole, and felt that there was too much to learn, and kept getting into this cycle of watching more videos ...and getting mightily discouraged. Just when I was thinking about giving up , I saw your 2024 POD video and I must say, you are a gifted teacher and I feel inspired to follow your method.🎉 . I wish I had done so a few years ago, you give honest and good advice.
    I would like to know how many percent I should factor in when pricing, if I am using PayPal or Payoneer? You know, to be on the safe side? And do you recommend one over the other?
    I come from a family of teachers, by the way, so I am not just saying it lightly, when I hold you in high esteem. 💥👏 Kudos to you for all your success.

    Just curious, Can you make a video or have you made a video showing how to drive traffic to your listings on these 3 sites?
    Or are you just posting and hoping for organic sales from random shoppers?

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question. I've done it both ways (pretty intensely) and I now just rely on the organic traffic going to the websites. The social media strategy used to work great but it took so much time and brain power compared to just spending the same energy making more designs and getting them uploaded.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I don’t personally recommend it because the people purchasing the items from this way of print on demand (on a marketplace website rather than a clothing brand storefront) are just looking to buy the shirt for the design rather than any brand loyalty. I hope that makes sense and helps!

    Can i use Canva instead of Placeit? Is it risky to use Canva? Thank you ❤️

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks and great question! I switched from Canva to Placeit because not everything on Canva is copyright free (fonts & graphics specifically) and I felt the tshirt design templates on Canva were too basic. You technically can use Canva but I really think there are better options out there that will help you do a lot better in print on demand. I hope that helps!

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the comment, great question, I should have discussed this a bit more in the video. Each of the sites does payments their own way, however across the board you will be paid either automatically direct deposit to your bank each month, automatically paid to your PayPal each month, or funds build up in your account and you can choose how often you want to withdraw them either into PayPal/Payoneer/direct deposit. I hope that helps clarify!

    Hi Greg, enjoy watching your great videos. I tried Amazon KDP with several books, from children's books to coloring books. Uploading to Amazon does not always mean sales. What are you doing to make your products available or found when someone searches for a particular item? My books are ,in my opinion, buried deep in the bottom of Amazon. I want to start a tee shirt business as you described.

    • @GregGottfried

      Absolutely! I’ve done this before and it works well to help promote your own designs, but the big thing is that it’s not necessary anymore. Getting your designs listed on the big print on demand marketplaces is all I do for traffic, and I don’t do any external marketing anymore. I hope that helps to know!

      Great question. I’ve used it in the past for tshirt designs but have switched to Placeit because not everything on Canva is copyright free, and I felt the design templates were basic compared to Placeit. I hope that helps!

    Hello Greg. I got have been following your "Easiest ways to print on demand 2024 video. I have followed the instructions but now Iam trying to upload my t-shirt prints and it is giving me this error message. Your image isn't large enough to support all our Wall Art options. The largest size your image supports is Medium (16" x 24").
    File Requirements:
    A high-resolution transparent .PNG at 150dpi. Minimum dimensions of at least 1500px by 1995px (not including outer transparent pixels).
    To enable all products, your file must be at least 5000px by 5500px. See our design guide for help.

      No worries, that message is just in regards to creating full wall sized art work (like tapestries and wall canvas prints). We are just focused on t-shirts and apparel so you can disregard that message. More on that in this tutorial: th-cam.com/video/-hV1199wN0k/w-d-xo.html

    If you get accepted on Amazon, does Amazon expect you to sell exclusive with them?

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. No, they are non-exclusive (all the others are too) so you can sell on all of them at the same time.

    Greg, I'm a subscriber and I've watched many of your videos on both POD & Affiliate Marketing and they're all very informative and easy to understand, especially for a newbie like me who's 55+. However, one thing I see quite a lot on YT is many other POD designers talk a lot about using AI to create these very beautiful graphics to print on T-shirts or even posters. So I would like ask if you could make a video about your thoughts on using AI like Mid-Journey, Canva, Chat GPT 4.0 (Dalle-E3), Kittl AI and also some of the other apps that help to upscale AI graphics. Is this something you can give us some insight on? Thanks.

    But what about how to market the product? How do people know about my Amazon store? How to create traffic for the store?? This is the most important point in the print-on-demand business. Unfortunately, you do not mention it or teach us your marketing strategy.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’m glad you asked! This is something I should have explained a bit more, but you don’t have to do any external marketing yourself. By listing your designs on the marketplaces, they show up in people’s search results individually (not as your entire store) so people come to them on their own when they are already browsing the marketplace. I’ve done a ton of external marketing on social media in the past and it’s good for added traffic, but it simply takes a ton of effort compared to just focusing on creating and listing more designs to the marketplaces. I hope that makes sense and helps clarify!
