    Great vid. I lived in WA in the early 80s for a about 2 years. I used to do the Albany trip and head up the coast over a few days anytime I had mates or family over from the Vic to show them the best of WA. Looks like its all pretty slick and spendy now, back then you could walk over the rock bridge and under it.

    We have spent so much time in that area it is almost like a second home. So much to see and do down there even though the weather can be a bit odd. Good on ya for picking up the rubbish on Norman's Beach. Such a beautiful area and a real shame it is getting so much junk washed up. A few years ago we never saw rubbish there at all. Did you notice a building on top of the dunes as you come out from the inlet to the beach? Used to have a big glass dome on it. It was built by the architect Wallace Greenham. We were lucky enough to have a look inside many years back. Awesome views of Mt. Manypeaks and the beach.

      @@Sparkysontheloose We did a page about another house Wallace built but there are a couple of pics of the dome house as it was before the dome came down if you are interested in having a look : www.wanowandthen.com/Whistlepipe-Gully.html

    We were up at that lookout in February 2018. It was a glorious day and met a couple of the locals up at the lookout and they said it was the best they had seen it in a long time. The views on that day were awesome. You could see all over King George Sound and out past Breaksea Island. We also enjoyed The Anzac Centre, a truly memorable place to visit and pay our respects.

      Hi Guys. Have been watching your videos for quite a while now. Honest and down to earth. We spent 6 months on the road last year, having left Sydney on Australia Day and made our way through to Adelaide and then followed the coast right around to Darwin in an On Road Evernew caravan that I've
      had for 22 years. We have subsequently sold that van and will be picking up our New Evernew Full Off Road van next February and then hopefully will be on the road full time and visit a lot of the out of the way places we couldn't do before. By the way Kurt, I'm 70 yrs young and I climbed the three trees that Aimz did . Keep up the good work.

    Yes, I noticed it, backwards benny! Beautiful Albany - an oasis when coming from the east through barren, parched landscape and coming across luscious, lively Albany - although I must confess, that was 35 years ago. I think its time to go again!!

    Hi thank you for your informative videos and description below. This is very handy. I love tat you travel with your gorgeous dog. We have our Maltese Shitsu on trips with us almost always. Which brings me to a question. What do you do with your dog when you in National Parks? Do you sneak him in or do you actually leave him somewhere? I want to take ours to WA but dont want to miss on national parks so I wonder what to do with my beloved Chloe. Apologise it i was asked before and would love some tips - cheers and thanks again guys!

      G'day, travelling with a dog is our most common question. We have created a page on our website which gives all the information we have on how we do it. www.sparkysontheloose.com/camping-with-a-dog
      The most detailed info would be on our podcast th-cam.com/video/wrL-mWB8yi8/w-d-xo.html
      Hope this helps, Cheers

    Hey guys can I get a bit of info on the car mirrors. I have the same ute and would love to fit a set.

      @Sparkysontheloose  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Robert, they're the Toyota Prado towing mirrors on eBay. You can just bolt them on, they need a lot of work.
