Very interesting to watch, Nick, thank you. What a square-looking little ship, as if it was designed by Lego.
Hi Nick, what would we do without you,!!! another well done,!! 👍
Great video nick..from an exiled scouser who lives on the isle of Man. The Manxman will be running on Saturday and Sunday thought the winter I believe. Fingers and toes crossed for the much needed saving of Zoe's Place ❤
Brillant video of the Manxman haven’t seen the ship in a long time it will be doing Liverpool service on the weekends and this weekend
Hi Nick. Good to meet you today. Great footage 👍
Brilliant Nick 👍
I really enjoy the variety of your videos Nick.
I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of the Littlewoods building, plus your other projects which you rightfully leave a while and then revisit.
Much appreciated mate 👍🏻
Fantastic ❤
Another excellent video Nick.👍
Off topic, but the Bramley-More Dock Stadium blends in nicely on the skyline. The verticals on the stadium seem to compliment the older buildings in the area
Totally agree that shot of Ferry in foreground BMD in background and the complimenting architecture in mid ground is very pleasing on the eye complimented with the music well done Nick 👍
It will be a relief to both Dan Meis, the architect, and LCC Planners, that you noticed as that was the intention. Dan Meis used Albert Dock, the Tobacco Warehouse and the Titanic Hotel as inspiration for how to reflect the history of the area.
Wow what a video I live on the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 I haven’t seen it in a long time the Ben my chree has been doing service to Heysham
I havent seen the Manxman for a long time
great vid on channe thanks for vlog thanks lee
Great update Nick thanks mate. 👏👏
Cheers Nick thanks for the coverage 👍
I heard that they are starting to use the Manxman from Liverpool in November. We, the wife and I, sailed on the Manxman in June, beautiful ferry.
It seems they have hit a snag and can't dock at certain tides. More money required to fix it
Hello Mr Drone, Fantastic video. I have been waiting to see how the Manxman would deal with this new berth. It's Interesting that a tug was being used on this occasion. Will it be normal to have a tug, or was it just a precaution whilst it was on test? Interesting that she has to berth side-on because of the layout of the berth. It was dead calm water. I have reservations on how she will fare on a fast flowing flooding 30ft tide in galeforce winds. The Manxman looked beautiful. Thank you again for the excellent video. Spoolbox.
👍👍
Ahh, if only the Belfast ferry docked that close to the Bramley Moore Stadium. ...Wishful Thinking
I wonder what the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is doing with the old terminal and its buildings? The Steam Packet is owned by the Isle of Man government.
👍🏻😀
Hi Mr Drone, have you seen the latest plans for a 80 bed hotel close to the BND stadium? Details are on the Place North West website.
Hi, I know he knows about it as you should see on this channel soon enough.
@davidbadcock2225 tomorrow morning it’s ready for 👍🏻
@@misterdroneuk 😉. I just checked in to the channel to see if you had released it today. Have a good weekend. UTFT.
Cheaper and quicker to fly.
But Mr Drone, can you tell me why it is so incredibly expensive to take the ferry to the IoM?
Just thinking did they ever finnish the sea wall 🧱
Is that the ferry across the Mersey? Please tell me 😂 Thanks Nick
Jurgen: No, it's not. This ferry travels between this terminal, ALONG the Mersey Estuary, and Douglas, Isle of Man. The infamous "Ferry on the Mersey" travels ACROSS the Mersey to the Wirral.
@@davidbadcock2225 I was joking David 😆👍
@@jurgenvoogt1638 Ak, Ok. Got me there, then. Glad to learn it was so.
Will the sea cat still be in use?
I think they swap over to this in the winter months than back to the cat for spring & summer.
@@rosse6705 cheers 👍
Manannan runs a seasonal service Easter to End October. Manannan has a wave height restriction of mean average wave height not to exceed 3.5m - as stated on the publicly displayed insurance certificate on board Manannan.
So Manannan not suited to stormy weather.
Also less passengers out of season so no need for it to run.
A ferry NOT across the Mersey.
