Ive owned one since 2021 and recently got into modded beat saber. 100% worth the 400$, theres so many great experience that you didnt even know you wanted until you try.
Awesome! Im still struggling with the original Beat Sabre! Just need to practise more when the headset isnt being hogged by my family! Defo worth the price though!

Also the games imo take longer to complete as u r in the game and exploring etc takes alot longer than normal games. I b careful with pico lots of returns seems like lottery with the headset some are getting crap others saying its good but limited games
The quest 2 has the specs, no question there, but there is one burning question that some like myself have. If we buy the Quest 2 with the 3 looming on the horizon, will services be discontinued after a year of ownership? A lot of Occulu Go users, including myself faced that issue. Yes, for VR standards, the 399$ price tag is relatively cheap, but 400$ is still 400$ and not something that everyone has lying around to splurge.
Well said Jason. Tbh I was talking about this only last night. A mate is saving for a Quest 2 but by the time they save, I said it maybe worth waiting for the Quest 3. Also by that point the Quest 2 may get a price drop in preparation for the Quest 3 release. And of course like you said how long will the services continue for the 2 if the 3 is released later this year? I personally suspect services will continue for a good while with the Quest 2 as its been such a huge hit for Meta, that just my opinion of course and they will want people to stay connected to the Metaverse for as long as they can! Still loving the Quest 2 btw!
@@mcphoney I would like to think so, and you do make a fair point. I think that the Occulus Go was doomed from the start, as Occulus was on the verge of being bought out by Facebook at the time. It was a fantastic idea at the absolute worse time. I think that now, the period of time that Meta will support the Quest 2 will far surpass that of the Occulus Go because the Quest 2 is truly their product, and not kind of their product like the Go was. Here is hoping, at least. Thanks for the reply, Cheers.
Yes you can either sit down or stand up. 👌 When it comes to setting up your play area whenever you go on your quest, you can either create you own “guardian” space or have a stationary/static one!

So there is some via a PC link up but not sure if that is an option for you? I think it is but you have to really be into VR. I barely touch mine tbh… it is fun when I do use it though. I just feel like it’s too early for VR to be something tons of people really invest their time into. It’s a bit gimmicky for now.
You raise a very good point. And being brutally honest when I first tried VR (the first quest) I didn’t/couldn’t really get into it. Plus my friend thinks it’s just a passing phase/gimmick too. It’s only since owning a Quest 2 and using it immensely that I’ve appreciated and enjoyed it more. Of course in another 12 months that could be a different story! Great video! Got my quest 2 in Nov 22 and It was my first ever experience in vr and it was incredible. As for motion sickness I agree it's bad I even stopped playing vr for a few weeks because of it but honestly u just have to persevere and keep going, now in Jan 23 I'm running around in hyper dash like nobody's business with no motion sickness what so ever. As people say u just need to find your "vr legs" 😁. And if an older gamer like me can adapt, anyone can. Bring on the quest 3!! 💪

I’m still on mine whenever I can which usually ends up being around midnight by the time everyone’s in bed! “Into The Radius” is incredible and Ive bought a few others like Job Simulator, Blade and Sorcery and Warplanes. Just for a bit of everything! Highly recommend Into The Radius though if you haven’t played it! 💪
@mcphoney it just comes down to not having the time i guess. So I just end up playing on the xbox but the real problem is just a lack of games. At least ones I think I will be interested in.
