Diana wrote some words and ideas down and took them to Brandon Stone to create the production. Between them they created this beautiful, emotional song! The sand illustration by Alexandra is depicting that time in Diana's sad but very inspirational childhood. The word written at the end is "Родная" pronounced as "Radnaya" and means "Native/Home/Own/Dear/Darling or Whole" in English. Basically - My own Soul, or Two souls connected by fate. Not that she introduces these notes in any sort of self-pitying or egocentrically overt way. A strong aspect of her art is her ability to use her voice and her songs to empathically connect to her audience. (You have already seen the recent 'Quiet Outpost'?) She explores her own experiences - negative ones of deeply lived pain, sorrow, abandonment and positive ones of salvation, supportive love, hope and recovered joy, and her listeners find that we too must remember and a re-acknowledge how we have experienced all this in our own lives. Maybe this is one reason why, though she has been singing on stages throughout her teens, much of her fan base is with older, (more bashed around by life) people.
