As a devotee of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, I am very happy to see dialogues that shed more light on the real meaning of "advaita", that is: not as the denial of the eternal reality of God, Jagat and Jivas, but rather as the affirmation of the intrinsic unity that exists in everything, for everything "is in God", even though God transcends everything. It is a path of love and devotion and surrender (Bhakti) to God, which provides each soul with its highest realization.

This is the best. Simultaneously advanced philosophy and also a demonstration of the glory and grace of human life. Also the expansive advanced philosophy makes the Vaishnava/Vedanta basics easier to understand. Thank you.
Rishi Vrishaparva also getting introduced as Guruji's long term planning coming into fruition - that university education now landed in the Bhakti Marga Academy. Jai Gurudev and I'm only half way :-)!

    To All Guruji Namaskara.
Jai Sri Ram, Jai Sri Krishna, Har har Mahadev 🙏🕉️🔱🙏
Sanatan Dharma : a term used to encompass 6 schools of philosophy, that gives freedom through adopting the ultimate way of life... no dogmas.
You are the master of your life not a slave to rigid pathways.
So what is special about being a Hindu?
    1) Believe in God ! - Aastik - Accepted.
    2) Don't believe in God ! - You're accepted as Nastik
    3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak.
    4) You don't want to worship idols- no problem u can focus on Nirguna Brahman.
    5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc are core Hindu schools
    6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it.
    7) You want to start your journey by reading Bhagvad Gita - Sure !
    8) You want to start your journey by reading Upanishads - Go ahead
    9) You want to start your journey by reading Purana - Be my guest.
    10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti tradition.
    11) You don't like the idea of Bhakti ! No problem. Do your Karma. Be a karmayogi.
    12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy.
    13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life & find God - jai ho ! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic !
    14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship).
    15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy
    16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan.
    17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself ! Meditate, Study !
    18) You believe in Female energy ! Shakti is worshipped.
    19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism! "Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (the world is a family)
    20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival.
Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year.
    21) You are a working person. I don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu
    22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved.
    23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu!
    24) You know that Hinduism is a way of life, with considerable freedom.
    25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, River, Prani-matra, Earth, Universe
    26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint.
    27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu "(May you all live happily)
This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive. That is why it has withstood the test of time, inspite of repeated onslaughts both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything .
That is why it is eternal. There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell " Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah" Let the knowledge come to us from every direction.
Hinduvata: In Simple words, Hinduvata will rise when Dharma and Hindu is Oppressed.
Please tell me if anything is wrong in my words. I will correct myself.
    Hari om 🙏🕉️🔱🙏

About 1:40:00 mins will need to be explained several times. I almost missed that the distinction in tadatmya anubhava merging is the perception, the ahamkara collapsing rather than the soul merging. What is bhakti in advaita? Can one be devoted to the impersonal?
Overall, all these words and philosophy remain signposts to God realization. The words will always fall short of the experience that cannot be described. Its like trying to explain why we follow Guruji. Impossible to explain in words. And so we devotees will always appear foolish and brainwashed 🙂

Jai Gurudev, Tādātmya-anubhava is best explained by the river flowing into the ocean according to Muṇḍaka and Praśna Upaniṣad. What's important to understand in this case is that, as you say, there is no merging. What this analogy emphasises, according to Guruji Paramahamsa Vishwananda and the early Vaishnava commentators on the Upaniṣad, is the similarity of quality that results from the union of the river with the ocean. The sweet water of the river becomes salty and thus assumes the nature or identity of the ocean. Sri Ranga Ramanuja, a famous commentator of the Sri Vaishnava tradition, presents this as paramātmasāmyamātram, which means only resembling the paramātmā, not merging with it. Only the form of the difference is removed, not the ontological distinction between ātmā and Paramātmā. This is shown, for example, on the cover of the book.
Bhakti in Advaita is identical or similar to bhakti in any other tradition. What is different is the prayojana or goal. For the Vaishnava, bhakti is the means and the end; for the Advaiti, bhakti is the means but not the end, because there is no distinction between two entities at the higher level of reality called paramartika, and therefore no expression of devotion. Having said that, there are also differences in the definition of bhakti according to the various Vaishnava and Advaitic schools, the most important being probably that between Rupa Goswami and Madhusudana Sarawati, but this is a debate that belongs to their tradition. Our definition of bhakti can be applied to someone who follows Advaita. Only the goal is different. The devotion of advaita is not towards the formless, it is towards Isvara, who is understood as the first appearance of nirguna Brahman, by whose grace we go towards nirguna Brahman. However, bhakti as an exclusive mean in advaita is a relatively recent view, not necessarily shared by the earliest adherents of the system.
One chapter of the book is devoted to the linga or indicators that are referred to in order to know why one is following a particular path. The book explains the reasoning behind this, although ultimately it is not a process of the mind, but a process of pratyabijna or inner knowledge, known to the intellect but beyond the senses.
      🙏

Regarding the rejection of Advaita philosophy according to any definition, what is Gurudev's objection to the non monistic definition of Advaita as expounded by Meykandar Deva and his dualist, Theistic, non monistic form of Saiva Siddhanta?
My cursory understanding from studying an English translation of Sivagnana Botham, is that union with the Divine isn't an annihilation of the self in God, but just as the light of the sun doesn't destroy the stars in the sky, it engulfs them in its brilliance.

Vraj is not a bubble without philosophy. If it was all vedantist would not travel there. It is the peak of a Pyramid - the govardhan hill that is being enjoyed by those on prema Bhakti. It is held up by those who enjoy the vedantic gyaan and structural engineering. These vedantist hold their sticks up touching the govardhan from below supporting the Govardhan in their own way. Knowing completely well that Krishna alone holds the entire mountain on his credible power and personality

      @DharmaSpeaks 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

I think the point is that while Vraj attracts great philosophers it has a tremendous bhakti culture. This means it has a protective atmosphere where devotion can be practised without opposition or contention. Hence why the need for philosophy is not as critical.

    • @chanderhaskumar6825
      @chanderhaskumar6825 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

@DharmaSpeaks OR rather the opposition has been convincingly won over that no more can exist. The existence of pure devotional in love is also substantiated by personal realisations of those who come from outside and are converted and mysticism that exists around places like Nidhi van, story of Shayamananda and Gulab sakhi etc.

There cannot be a One with differences. Differences implies multiplicity. All differences have their origin in ignorance. Knowledge removes that ignorance and experience of the One follows.

@@winwinyuta3731 it is a material concept to say that difference cannot exist in oneness. That is our experience in this world of time and space, where everything seems to abide by the laws of physics. The spiritual reality cannot be compared to this or simply be the opposite of this. The spiritual reality abides by rasa, and rasa is the basis of reality. Variety exists to aid rasa, and no material laws are there to restrict this variegation. The Spiritual reality is ever dynamic and creative.

When your sadhana and the quality of your efforts reach a certain point, then with His grace, you will automatically receive all of the knowledge there is to receive.
