Shaun Winn Update 9-18-22

Today we went to Fellowship Church for the first time in several weeks because Shaun felt strong enough to go today. It was amazing the reception we received. There were so many people who came up to us to give us hugs and tell us they are praying for Shaun and our family and to ask for an update. We felt so loved and cared for. Thank you. The message today by Pastor Jimmy Evans about God's peace was so timely and needed in our situation. We were so glad that we were able to be there in person to hear the message. I apologize that we have not posted an update since Shaun got out of the hospital on Tuesday. We have had a lot to process and wanted to update our families before we posted this online. Shaun felt the best way to share what is going on is for him to film a quick video so you would know how to pray as we continue on this long health journey over the next few months. Please check out his video below.
As you can imagine, we are bearing a large financial burden with all the medical bills and medical visits, etc. If you are able to make a donation to our GoFundMe (gofund.me/4bb4...) or are interested in donating a restaurant delivery gift card, we would be forever grateful. Shaun's diet has become very restricted and we are hoping to meet with a Nutritionist to help us learn meals that he can eat now.
More than anything we covet your prayers. We definitely see God's hand on our situation and trust that He is in control.
Pray that God will continue to give Shaun's doctors wisdom.
Pray for healing.
Pray that he will be able to go on the liver transplant list.
Pray that he will receive a liver in the next six months that is compatible and that his body will accept it.
Pray for the family of the liver donor as they go through the loss.
