Today my husband Shaun had liver transplant surgery. Many people have followed his health journey over the past 3.5 months. Today he was given the incredible gift of a new liver. We are so grateful for all the prayers and support. Shaun is now out of surgery and doing well.

Shaun is in need of a liver transplant. Yesterday we were told that they have a matching liver. The donor is a young man about 22 years old. Due to the age, the donor has 11-13 viable organs for donation. It takes a significant amount of time to match up all those organs with the right recipients on the various transplant lists. Today we went to Fellowship Church for the first time in several weeks because Shaun felt strong enough to go today. It was amazing the reception we received. There were so many people who came up to us to give us hugs and tell us they are praying for Shaun and our family and to ask for an update. We felt so loved and cared for. Thank you.
