Watch rugby as a more casual fan but this a brilliant video as the explanations are very well done. Other sports football in particular need to do this

While i agree that the decision taken by the referee in the Lam incident was correct as per the law, its completely unfair on the tackler who for all intents and purposes positioned himself to make a perfect tackle only for the player to dip into head contact. Yellow card for making a perfect tackle. How is that fair? The laws definitely need tweaking, even though the need to remove head contact is important.

Don’t think the Toulouse player deserved a red. Yellow at most

The French rugby team believe that the match against Wales is already lost, because it is Luke PEARCE who referees.
With these French chauvinists, it's always the referee's fault ...

Wales were indeed the better team but Chat’s try should have been allowed and Adams try was clearly held up. I love Pearce though because he communicates with the players masterfully and never makes them feel bad.

@@denisemccarthy5384 Chat's try looked like a double movement to me tbh. The Adams try had to stand because Pierce said on field it was a try (which was a mistake). All in all it was good performance by Pearce and Barnes.

Perhaps, but he was not held,by same definition Navidi’s try would be disallowed.

@@denisemccarthy5384 Maybe although Navidi is moving forwards the whole time as far as I can see, where as chat is initially falling backwards with the ball, before all of a sudden he's making another movement towards the try line.
It might not be a double movements because the angles we have don't show the part in between the ball moving backward and him grounding it, but I honestly can't work out how he did it without a double movement.
at any rate I don't think it's identical to the Navidi try so it's not fair to say if Chat's is disallowed then so is Navidi's.
