I love vanillas! Sometimes, I can't pick it up when it's mixed with too complex scents - like with Guerlain or black opium type scents... Vanilla sky is one of my favs! I never really loved kayali vanilla 28, but I love fresh cream soft suede- it does have a pretty strong leather note but the vanilla is still very strong and sweet. Love these one note videos! ❤❤
My two very favorite vanilla’s are skylar and Nirvana Vanilla Bourbon. I like a lot of the bath and body bare vanilla and flankers also. I would say vanilla is one of my favorite notes.
Hi Amy my favorite vanilla right now is Phylosophy FCWC,is actually the only 1 I own,however you mentioned some I have on my wishlist such as Skylar vanilla sky,J.M. scarlet poppy and Kayali vanilla 28 which is so hard to get my hands on since I just want a small bottle to try and if I luv it will purchase a bigger bottle. Armani my way is so pretty and Alien goddess is my next purchase for me and my daughter,I'll get a travel size for me. I been interested in getting a montale fragrance but that weird scent I'm hearing I don't know, maybe it comes from the bottle itself since its like a can-like material. Nice video😉

Hands down agree with the strong opening of Kayali Vanilla 28! I cough every time I spray it. I have to hold my breath and step away immediately after spraying lol but it’s AMAZING, so I’ll deal with it lol

I went and tried Skylar Vanilla Sky at Sephora and immediately loved it. Got to chatting with the Sephora rep and after about 5 minutes the smell was gone! 😔 I sprayed myself dooowwnn only to have it be a skin scent after 10 minutes.
I love vanilla. My favourite vanilla is Kayali. I enjoy KKW Nude Lips with the Tahitian Vanilla. Must try Max crem de Nude . Also enjoying wearing Caramel Orchid. I get hints of vanilla in the background. I own Vanilla vibes. It’s ok. Better in heat. Want to add more vanilla scents to my collection because it’s a favourite note of mine.

That synthetic aspect you get is actually present in other Montale's fragrances unfortunately, so no you didnt get a bad batch. My sister got this as her first Montale fragrance a while back and when I first sniffed it, that's the first thing that came to my mind. I personally don't like it because it smells like an oil from my home country with a hint of vanilla. The fragrance doesn't live up to its name lol.

Hi…. I know this an older video, but I just found your channel 😊 I own three Montale fragrances. Sweet Vanilla, Vanilla Cake, and Rose Elixir. They all are beautiful when you first spray…..but then they all have the same what I call an ‘under smell’. It ruins the fragrance for me, because after the initial spray…..that’s all I smell! I detected a similar scent in Roses Vanille by Mancera..😢
I love Vanilla scented perfumes. I just got the discovery set from Sephora for vanillas and I tried the 7 virtues for the first time and I fell in love with that one. It’s so good. I also liked Juliet has a gun vanilla vibes and Atelier Vanilla incense (something like that). Love vanilla perfumes

I ordered that vanilla cake sample from móntale directly and I got the same synthetic note. It’s kind of a signature thing in a lot of the line but some profiles blend better with it. It’s not just you. You aren’t crazy 😝
I’ve found that Montale fragrances are also very greasy? For lack of a better word. My spray comes out so heavy. Vanilla cake does have a synthetic smell but I thought it was intentional. It’s really good tho ❤️
You’re hearing loud parrots and I’m about to put in my boots to trek through the snow to take out the trash because my backyard won’t thaw till mid May (we get more sun in our front yard so it’s always melting quickly). Not jealous…haha! Excited for vanilla scents! One of my favorite notes for sure. If you asked me a year ago I would have said I loathed vanilla. Kayali vanilla and fresh cream warm cashmere are favorite for sure. I picked up the lancome a la foile recently and it’s soooo soft. I just didn’t expect that. Hoping it gets a bit stronger with time. Ooh, an edp now for skylar vanilla. I have a tiny sample from months ago. Need to use it up and see. Do you think it’s like Coffee Break at all?
Aww 🥺 I would love to get just one snow day 😆 I remember when I lived in Chicago.. the first day of snow was alway so magical the. After that everyone was ready for spring 🥴😂 I don’t think Vanilla sky is similar to coffee break because coffee break is so loaded with lavender to my nose and the coffee goes down a lot as it dries down. ☺️

I didn’t like the snow in the Midwest (where I grew up) compared to the snow near the Rockies. Thank you for the comparison! I’ll try to get my nose on the new skylar vanilla.

I think you have the Intense version of LVEB 😱!! That’s discontinued and pretty hard/expensive to find! If I can remember correctly, that one has a nutty sweet hazelnut gourmand quality!
@@lornacuthill5327 I think it’s the Intense version 🤗! If you look at the tassel, you can see it’s the same as the intense version (looks like a bunch of strings tied around the nozzle) whereas the original is just a single ribbon. I own the intense too so that’s how i recognized it immediately 😅

I’ve heard that Móntale & Moncera scents have that screechy chemical scent in their DNA. All of their scents which deters me from even trying. If I ever see it in store, I’d test it 1st.
Yes, it’s really beautiful but I decluttered it from my collection because It didn’t feel like me. It’s definitely a classy fragrance and it’s a beautiful vanilla but on my skin, I picked up alot of the green notes and I wasn’t the biggest fan after a few wears. ☺️

The vanilla you didn't list here was Vanilla Vibes, which I really love. You really have to love salty scents though. If you are hunting for a sweet vanilla, that one definitely will disappoint you. For me it's a true "summer vanilla."
Yea, he is very simple when it comes to fragrances and he loves super sweet scents so I didn’t know if He would like la Nuit tresor a la folie but it was a super hit with him 🙌🏼🥰 I tried Vanilla vibes and it’s not for me 🥺 salt doesn’t mix too well with my skin unfortunately, there are very few scents with salt that I can tolerate 😔 thanks for watching!

I LOVE Kayali 28 it runs sweet/powdery on me. It's my favorite vanilla along with 7 virtues which is sweet fresh and slightly smokey Mmmmm.

I sprayed both Vanilla Woods and Santa Vanilla on a test strip at Sephora two days ago and I can still smell them both!
I showered and I still smell like a toasted marshmallow with the santal vanille😂😅😊

I got the synthetic note at first with mine but the longer i have it the better it has gotten it might need to macerate a little

Velvet Vanilla smells like bubblegum and Vanilla, if you like that type of scent, go for it! It’s strong last long and is super sweet.

Elizabeth and James Bourbon Vanilla has similar notes to Mix:bar Vanilla Bourbon and I’m curious how they compare. 😉🌹
I wouldn’t say they’re similar at all. The E&J is extremely woody with that very strong oak note that the mix bar doesn’t have.
I haven’t tried the mix bar vanilla bourbon but it would be nice if they were similar since the Elizabeth & James is discontinued 🥺
