I'm convinced that Jin being the youngest in his own family has contributed to him being such a good hyung to the other members. He's a giant goofball and loves to joke around, but at the end of the day he can always be relied upon. I think I saw a video of Kookie saying Jin was the one that helped him feel at home during their trainie years bc Jin really treated him like a brother. As the oldest, Jin could throw his weight around as age is such a big deal in Korean culture, but he doesn't do that. He seems to choose to focus on the caring aspects of being the eldest.
You’re correct, during their trainee yrs JK was feeling homesick and wanted to leave, as we was only 14, 15 at the time, but Jin took him in to meet his family (I believe) and treated him like family💜and that made Jungkook stay🥺💜

if only i can like this video thousand times, i would! Jin is the most underrated and unappreciated member. Baby army's don't know that their biases or the group wouldn't be as tight if it wasn't for him. Jin is the groups backbone. He is RM's core.

Jin is my bias and I know he is not appreciated enough but I think Namjoon is even less appreciated. It makes me sad to see how some "armys" are obsessed with one or two members and forget the rest of the group.

Jin is so loved and trusted by all the boys especially Kookie. Its amazing that Jin is the Maknae of his family but the Hyung in BTS. He takes such good care of them without really looking for the spotlight.

One thing i also noticed about the boys which some armys also pointed out is the way they share their food with the same utensils or eat from the same plate. You gotta be so close to be able to do that. That’s love and trust right there because i don’t even do that with my family or any friends AT ALL. But Bangtan does it all the time. It’s very endearing.
Also the Waterpark scene is from Run BTS and is one of the funniest eps.
I think this is part of Korean culture.
People in my family eat off each other all the time. Same thing with letting someone put contacts in your eyes. So it normal to me. 😂

Jin is awesome. No one can dislike Jin. Even though every BTS member deserves to be liked and loved, sadly a few of them gets misunderstood and is disliked. It's not deserved, like at all. But I have never heard of anyone disliking Jin.

ALWAYS here for appreciating Jin 💜🙏 He is such a gem of a person, always looking out for everyone around him. One of my favorite things he does is when he acts extra to break the ice for the group when they're in an interview or an unfamiliar setting. Especially when you realize that he's actually super introverted and sometimes shy. He just wants everyone else to feel comfortable no matter what, and that's really admirable 💜

Jin is a very intelligent and talented young gentlemen.
My siblings are used to sharing food like that (eating from the same plate, drinking from the same glass/cup, hv a bite of ice-cream like BTS, etc). I think it's common in East Asian communities BUT ONLY IF we are close to one another. We also do that with our very close friends.
I’m African from Cameroon and we too have this habit of drinking from the same glass, eating from the same plate etc with family and close friends. I personally do not mind sharing a piece of bread or ice cream with close friends
I'm from Turkey and my sister and I will do that, too. In some cases even my brother-in-law will join in. So I guess it is less usual in Western culture and more common in other cultures.
I'm white english and we do that, so I guess if you're close it'll happen anywhere

Every time Jin says 'hyung will do it' my eyes fill up with tears. He is such a caring and loving big brother to them all. It literally melts my heart!
And I have to say I have never seen the contact lenses clip before and it made me cringe. I couldn't let anyone to that for me. Suga has such trust in Jin. He never flinched!!!! 😮

Jin has a golden heart. He really is the best oldest Hyung (even though he's the baby in his own family). It took me awhile to warm up to Jin, but once I got beyond the teasing and such all the time, I could see his genuine caring and love for the rest of BTS. Yoongi and Jin were roommates for many years, so I guess the trust got built up there, and I know I remember Yoongi saying he couldn't put the contacts in himself (I'm in that camp too, but now I can't wear them at all). Awe...multiple reasons I wanna be able to like this video more than once! Definitely isn't as much Jin stanning videos out there in comparison...but the ones that are well made just really highlight what a great asset he is to the team. Not only that...he really is one of those people in life that you should feel so blessed to have met and know. He has an older brother, and I wonder if his older brother is just as kind, patient and compassionate as he is and that's partially why he is the way he is. In old vlogs from their rookie days he has talked about how he misses his parents and during one of the most emotional ending ments, Jin gave thanks to ARMY for making it possible for him to feel like a son his parents could be proud of. Ah that clip always makes me cry! He is such a pure heart and I love it. I feel like he treats everyone with kindness and a gentle hand and truly has qualities that are rare to come across in a genuine way! On top of all that, witnessing such a sweet moment between you guys as brothers...that made me just go "AWE"! AJJ gave some high praise and I could tell that Nico was flattered and yet kinda squirmy about receiving the compliment, which is so cute. You fit right in with the guys, the clips of them doing rolling paper, where they basically compliment one another or highlight things about each other that they respect or admire...it's cute to see how squirmy they all get but you can still see and sense the love and bond. We got to witness that with you two now as well! :) oh and sidebar...yeah the whole sharing ice cream cone thing...definitely seems weird to most but culturally not strange for us Koreans...IF you are very close and know and trust the people you're sharing with. I'm actually that way with my current group of friends and I'm the only Korean lol so now idk if I can say it's cultural anymore lol thanks for doing a Jin focused video...love the equal spread of love yall give the guys! @@EpiphanyOfMine I saw it recently but looks like it got blocked or has become private. That compilation has really good fancams, dance practice over time, and some rare fancams aswell. I was looking for Jin dance compilations and that one was really good. Hope it shows up again.

Spot on about Jin not letting anyone go without. He used to take utensils and food essentials from his home to feed the rest of the boys and he would take Jungkook home with him and to good dinners, so that he didn’t miss out on home and proper nutria too much. Jin is always bridging the gap for the guys whenever and however he can.

I didnt realize how strict the age culture is in Korea until I got the chance to watch clips from other idol groups' reality shows. I was surprised to see how the younger members were careful not to be disrespectful to the older group members, so their group dynamic ended up looking stiff I think. Goes to show how amazing Jin is. He set the tone as the oldest. That's why they ended up so close and caring to each other. No heirarchy there.

even as a korean, the way jin takes care of his members and watching these compilations of all of their bonds truly amazes me. you guys were talking about how sharing food like ice cream isn't something you wouldn't normally do even between close friends/siblings. again, as a korean, I do share food with a lot of my close friends and family members, but there are some things bts do together that has me intrigued with how comfortable they are to each other.
I also agree with your comments on Jin and Jungkook. While each bond in BTS is unique and special, there is something about Jin and Jungkook that leaves a big impression. Even beyond the age difference (which you probably know plays a role in Korean culture), Jin and Jungkook's relationship and their connection really resonate with you.

WWH has a youthful spirit like me. The other members relate well to him for this. He can play with them and also be that older brother to them and keep them in line. I'm sure there are Jin dance videos out there, like the evolution of Jin's dance ability over the years. Or the underestimation of his skills. If he really was so bad at dance, he wouldn't have survived the training and process and debuted.

When I think of all the people in BTS, the ones who stand out to me most as guys with the biggest "true" duality facets are Yoongi, JK and Jin.
Jin is such a goof ball and they always say he is mentally closest to JK because how he acts, and how the two interact ( they are silly, hyper energetic, loud, giggly, funny, overly dramatic ) BUT if you pause and start to pay closer attention who " real" Jin is he can´t be further away from what he gives us to satisfy our perception of him. He is painfully shy, introverted, sitting humbly in the background when others are taking their time to flex. He is also a super natural, ever kind but always genuine and gentle networker, he doesn´t do it to put himself up there but to help or support others. When you see him unscripted with other people he may not even know he comes across as the one with the most natural skill to approach and to engage in effortless conversation. He is a big enigma to be honest and I do not think many people in fandom really "understand" or "get" Jin because of his elusive nature when on/ off camera. His kindness and altruistic sacrifice is obvious and RM values him something incredibly. Even Moonbyul of Mamamoo likes him a lot ( as a fellow 92-liner) because of his altruistic, ever kind and giving nature:-)
