The pearlescent look in hard candy is caused by air bubbles that are formed by stretching tne sugar over and over. It adds texture and softness and is a very traditional part of hard candies so I'm glad you wanted to include that part! 💕

Honestly miss you have a superpower. I’ve literally had this happen to me like 5-6 times. Your videos are like a cure to art block !!! They’re beautiful and just inspiring. Rn after about 2 weeks of art block ( which as an animation student it sucks extra btw ) I’m drawing something out of the blue that I genuinely wanted to and it wasn’t a homework but an idea, so thank you !

She turned out so cute!!! This really gives me a candy cane vibe, and it also gives me a sort of vintage winter cottage vibe! It gives me nostalgia from watching hours of Disney VHS tapes on the little TV. ♥️🥰
I drew along today, with the concept of a candy cane fairy, inspired by the green and red striped candy canes. She turned into a jester candy cane fairy, haven't thought of a name yet. Your Cici turned out so pretty! I have a lot to learn.

The stripes on the candy cane immediately brought a tuxedo in my mind and I was hoping you’d put the princess in a structured striped pant suit or a tuxedo.. 😭❤️ can you please do one!? I love watching you draw! 🥺💕

I'm always so jealous of the easy flow to develop a character. Each character illustration I'm like: "This one looks so good!" then you manage to up yourself in a different style as the development process proceeds. I think she would look wonderful with a little mug of hot cocoa with a candy cane melting in the cup! I give so many claps to you though! My inspiration to doodle with my col-erase is sizzling! ☺
The cocoa with the melting candy cane made me think of those peppermint chocolates, and those soft chewy peppermint candies in buckets 😋
You should do a morning routine character, for instance draw her in pajamas and then after she puts on real clothes, then when she goes outside in the cold ect. You could do this with an original character of your own or make a new one. I think that would be a rlly cool video

I loved watching the design process of this one. And the drawings were so vibrant and cute. Some of them reminded me of folk costumes. Which gave me an idea: I'd love to see you draw folk costumes, and then design characters (plus outfits) based on those costumes. Maybe in combination with inspiration from a regional dish/snack/pastry?
I just LOVE how she turned out! As you were drawing her in the last pose, I instantly thought “She’s ice skating!!” Princess Cici on ice! You can’t do fun pirouettes on ice in a super long dress! Thank you for sharing! You’re always so inspirational!

The outfits of my characters don't look nearly as beautiful and well-thought-out like yours since I mostly focus on their physical features since they're monsters, and also because drawing monster faces is much more fun for me than drawing an outfit.
I've been watching you for a long time, maybe a few years, and I cannot be any more honest when I say your art inspires me to really try getting better at drawing people and outfits.

winter princess - the Russian Snow Maiden Snegurochka is so pretty and she has this amazing crown and you should totally draw her. She's a Christmas character and she's seriously so much more intricate and beautiful than most Western Christmas characters
