This album got me into Drum and Bass. I was a huge Half-Life fan and as soon as I heard the intro I was hooked for life.
yup same for me! but it was a friend in HS that moved down from NY and introduced me to a Webster Hall mix. Soon after I saw this album and had to buy it. Havent stopped listening to DnB since this released(its 19JAN24 for archival purposes).
Okay the HL and Q2 sfx got me immediately excited!

Listened to this CD a hundred times with friends, bongs and one of those plasma balls with the purple lightening that moves in time to the music, probably.
I started getting interested in electronica in middle school/early high school and one day I headed over to Solomon Pond mall and looked through the CDs available and grabbed this one on a whim. This was my Intro into not just DnB, but Any EDM and set the standard for my music life in high school.

I bought this from 611 Records off South St in Philly when it came out! Absolute classic!
Saw him at the Root of the Hill in Boulder. Those were the days. So ill and the pop locking and breakdancing was so dope. Real underground was the best!

Also replayed this mix while jamming other NFS titles as the U2 and MW original soundtracks where unbeatable, the first track of this mix with NFS porsche unleashed = hyper nostalgia.

Yeah bro! This was a regular in the CD player between 1999-2001 for my old krew. This, J. Smooth and Freaky Flow Back to School, DJ SS @ Bassrush 2000, and Robert de la Gauthier @ Bassrush. Those were all considered phat and da bom diggity around these parts around turn of century.

This is the first dieselboy experience for me, back when I was in high school. I had this tape parked in my oldsmobile tape deck for months with 2 rockford fosgate punch 15's pumping
System upgrade was my first, it was only a single crap Jensen 12 but I had a CD player in a 2 door nissan. Life was carefree and gas was cheap. Lots of road trips... memories.

My most favorite Dieselboy album. I own them all. Met him twice. Seen him live in LA/Indio numerous times. Hell, I even named my last son after him. I've had this album on repeat since about 2:30pm PST. It is now 800pm PST. Who here in 2020 tho?

@@datboi5810 Biden introduced the RAVE Act in '03 and everything went to shit after that. Nobody wanted to throw a good party because the promoters would be held liable for anything that happened (including someone getting busted selling). The scene went "legit" and died soon after.

Haha i feel you. I was just thinking the same. Lol my sound system was worth more than my Camaro and that car was not cheap back then. Driving around after parties with the whole block vibrating. At least it looked that way in all my mirrors. Rolling balls!! This got me pulled over more than once but never was it so fearful then when special substances were hidden in every cranny of the car.
