Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a cyberpunk-themed action role-playing stealth video game developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix. Set two years after Human Revolution, Mankind Divided features the return of Adam Jensen from the previous game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, with new technology and body augmentations.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is presented with a first-person perspective, with a third-person cover system, and combines elements of first-person shooters, with a role-playing upgrade system and dialogue trees. The game allows the player to tackle situations using combat, hacking, stealth, and social interactions. Some new features include: on the fly gun customization, remote hacking, Icarus dash (short range silent teleportation), tesla arch, Nano blades, radar with map layouts, and a changed energy system (energy is no longer a series of batteries but 1 bar that slowly refills). The boss battles have been changed so that killing isn't the only way to win a battle, making it possible to complete the game without killing anyone. The XP system has been changed so that the stealth approach doesn't have an XP advantage.
Here's an actual fact, you can get by lasers easily by dragging an unconscious guard through. It doesn't detect you. Awesome.

Yeah, I figured that out while playing Deus Ex Human Revolution when a guard fell in the laser and it stayed off.

You can also do that in HR when doing the Tai Young raid. In-lore ID chips under their neck skin but out-lore not to confuse ai and have a civil war.

@@doccu sometime i get some slow gamer friend who tell me to not spoil them this or that game because they didnt played it yet, even when the game is 10 years old! It was a guess since I didnt saw any reply haha
Exo suit take downs can also be used with the 10mm pistols emp ammo. Similar to stun gun. But recommend putting a silencer on it first.
You can also use pistol EMP shot on the exo suits.
1 shot + punch = still non lethal and quick.
The sad part about that secret stash in the apartment, is that it doesn't keep any item, everything disapear... Glad it was only junk, but damn I miss the old Deux Ex when every item was staying in place...
My apartment in Human Revolution used to be a glorified Armory. I'd have 1 of every weapon, sometimes duplicates with different mods, sections on the bed with ammo in different columns, all the explosives and grenades, unused weapon mods.... Basically hoarded everything and still finished the game with like 40k credits which was funny. No sense of scarcity at all by the developers. I kinda liked that they did away with it in Mankind Divided outside of your 3 lockers. You can however keep canisters, tanks and barrels in your apartment forever. When it came time for the curfew in act 3 I had a dozen explosive barrels, propane tanks, poisonous gas, fire extinguishers and incendiaries. Blew some unlucky chaps out of the game.

For me, stealth is the only way to play this game. I always upgrade traversal and having augs first as well as the cloak. Traversal being the higher jump, and lifting heavy objects. Then from there cloak and then start maxing out your hack as the levels increase in the game. Keep a few militias at the ready as well just in case.
2:50 stun gun ammo is expensive, but you can use emp ammo as well on Suit enemies.
You can get stun gun sooner in Koller library. Thanks for 5 trick with dead bodies, i didn`t know about that.

this is probably well known and/or useless, but, if you carry a unbreakable object (preferably while crouching, just to be safe) in front of you, you can use it like a shield.
About men in exosuits - you may use tesla augment instead of syun gun, the effect is almost the same
Re:
1. Some objects has a "Health Bar", you can also crack it open with explosive of bullets
2. I discovered it with the Smart Vision
3. Any electric based weapons can do the same, like Tesla or EMP bullets
4. I always find Stun Gun not useful, I kept one in HR because it disabled Bots and Cams, now there're EMP bullets on Pistol...meh

Takedowns would be adequate
The emp ammo is super useful for example pistol a camera from a distance with it then while the camera is stunned you can then shoot the camera or fire your nano blade at it and destroy it without any alarms being raised this is incredibly helpful being stealthy.
Beautiful tip about the body manipulate heavy objects! really handy
so handy. I'm going to try a no Augs run so that will be a lifesaver!
Even tho alot of people dislike this game I really enjoyed it. Yes I agree H.R was better but this one is good as well. Just hope we get longer DLC.

I've played Human Revolution in my Mac and now Mankind Divided in my new Ps4. It's very hard to aim the enemies quickly with PS controller even when in couching. With mouse is accurate. I need direction how to improve Deux Ex . Thanks

@@GORILLA_PIMP As Human Revolution was developed in 2012, its graphics are a little worse than the Mankind Divided but de History is better. Anyway I'm suspect. Both are fantastic. You should play HR first to enjoy and understand better MD. Surely
Honestly, Square Enix have reached EA and Ubisoft levels of bad. I'm sorry, but single-use DLC? That's a thing people joke about, you don't do that! It's unreal, honestly. Add microtransactions and that "augment your pre-order" bullcrap they tried to pull off and naturally people will be offended by such behavior. Same with Hitman. And it's such a shame, considering the fact that Eidos are fantastic devs. :/
You're right it is a shame but at least praxis points come regularly enough in the game. I mean, if it felt like they slowed down the rate at which you got them just to force you to buy more, then it would have been much worse!

Daniel von Strangle I'm not sure about explosions, but shooting them for a while definitely does break them. The reason he used objects was because they are quieter.

A game I have bought on two platforms and would love to actually play IF it wasn’t so fucking hard to accomplish anything or even progress the story to a point of caring. This is a masterpiece hidden behind a locked door only a very few will have the key for. Unapproachable hopelessness would be my description of the experience. Square Enix is famous for making games that I and many others will never finish. I love this IP I just wish someone else would make it. I bet obsidian would make it lovable

I'm wondering the same as of October 2019 :D will give it a go. Only had a go at this game and wasnt very appealed. Yet years ago I loved Human Revolution. Maybe I just need to adjust to it. Seemed very clunky
