Can you also show it in reverse? Getting lineart from a colored drawing?

What I'm interested in is AI coloring the line that "I drew", keeping all the details and story I put in my work, not coloring something AI already produced. but I guess technology is not there yet, since AI can't fully recognize various situations drawn by people yet.

Is there a model to shade and add rim lights to anime picture with base colors? I would like stable diffusion to color sprites for my game and I need stable color pallet.

make sure you checked "enable" also you can change the control weight to 2. 0 is heavy freedom, 2 will keep it almost original

Does this work on online platforms based on stable diffusion, like seaart? Also, does this work on actual manga pages as well? I would love to see a video of you coloring a manga page like dragonball, for exemple, using this technique. I think it's harder because it has to use the same colors for similar structures. Maybe by using a lora of the characters that appear on the page?

I am not familiar with seaart so I can't answer. But yes, for manga pages, it's extremely useful.

@@grendarAI I have tried a bit using seaart with a similar method, using controlnet lineart extract to color it, but it got really messy. Could you show a video of you coloring a manga page with this technique? Specially a "hard" manga, with lots of details, like the ones from Megamu Okada - Episode G, for exemple. Also, can we get consistency in the colors for coloring a character always with the same colors?
Thank you very much for your answer.

Nice tutorial. But I have drawn a lineart, how do I colorize it? I don't want to change the picture in any way, just add color to it from an example image that I have that is in color. Any idea how to color manga?

I've done some search regarding this topic, and it seems impossible for now. AI have to first "understand" your drawing, only then it can color or whatever process you wanna go further.
That "recognizing" technology currently only works on drawings with simple poses/situations. It is not advanced enough to fully analyze complex drawings.
Conclusion: AI "art" for now is just a fancy reproduction of the same shit over and over. Most people already lost interest in it lol
