Person 1 says "Hey dude, you okay?" "Yeah." "Perfectly fine." "I like doing good things for others." Person 1 says "Me too, it brings me an inner calm." "Yeah, calm." th-cam.com/video/Pwymq-gWhvY/w-d-xo.html
In fact, 4th edition didn't *give* tieflings a Charisma bonus, it gave them one *back*; a +1 Charisma was one of the original tiefling ability score modifiers in 2nd edition, and 3rd edition penalizing that stat is an anomaly in the tiefling's history.
Objection; the aasimar race actually debuted in 2nd edition alongside the tiefling, as did the elemental-blooded genasi, they just did so in the Complate Planewalker's Handbook, the first PC-focused expansion setting for Planescape, which is also where the legendary random tiefling trait and appearance generating tables appeared - aasimar got their equivalent in the obscure splatbook "Warriors of Heaven", which also provided rules for playing as the various angels of D&D. Weirdly, aasimar and tieflings made it into the 3e monster manual, whilst genasi were relegated to some Forgotten Realms books.s
Tieflings are typically devil 'tainted' whereas Cambions are the DIRECT descendant of a fiend (so devil or demon) and a humanoid. Cambions have a greater connection to their fiendish nature due to their biology. Tieflings could be created via a curse, a pregnant women being a bit too close to a devilish influence, or they might have a very distant devilish relation in their ancestry.
I LOVE the 4e version of Tieflings, much better than what we saw in earlier editions but somewhat awkward for 5e.

That is true - Genasi & Aasimar did appear in 2nd edition, didn't mean to imply that they don't appear until a later edition
Tiefling has been a part of 5e since the beginning. They are literally in the player's handbook.
What is the difference between a tiefling and a cambion?

@@DumpStat So cambions are the scions of fiends. And tieflings could be the scions of cambions. Got it!
@@elwoodbrown7005 or great [..] great grandchild of a cambion. Tieflings can be born to two humans.
Level of corruption
