Nah. In Tenkaichi 3 you could have 5 characters, each with their own life bars and the fights still were pretty quick if you knew how to play.

Hollow Ichigo kurosaki That wasn't Bambietta. That was Candice Catnipp. Bambietta is the one who creates bombs with her reishi.
This gameplay is definitely an improvement from the early alpha build the movements of the characters are fast and snappy they belnd well in the environments the color palate seems toned down a bit better than before especially for the sparkles they had before all over the screen...
Looking forward to the next and final build they would have 😎👌🔥

Does it bother anyone else that we see more from Ichigo's Bankai here than in the manga?
If you notice, Ichigo's Bankai shatters apart in the middle of the attack to reveal the original Zangetsu. Hence why that version of Zangetsu is the true Bankai.
It's a great attention to detail for those read the manga to the end.
My bad, I forgot that the Vasto Lorde-esque form wasn't part of his Bankai, I was poking fun at how its abilities weren't touched upon much outside of the one new attack he used. Also, OG Zangetsu isn't his true Bankai, his true Bankai is the one that broke.
@@KazuTheFang There is 2 possible explanations for the phenomenon of the sword breaking open.
1. When Yhwach drained ichigo of his hollow and Quincy powers, he possibly lost both the powers that were fused within the blade. Ichigo searched deep down in his soul to manifest the Zangetsu from within and that was the OG Zangetsu. (However in this scenario it makes no sense as Ichigo has both his powers here)
2. Quite some time ago when Ichigo first unlocked shikai, OG Zangetsu was said to be an 'incomplete' blade. So its possible the bankai blade was meant to be the 'completed' version of the OG Zangetsu.
The way I understood it was that since Ichigo was stripped of his hollow and quincy power his Zangetsu returned to OG because that was essentially the vanilla version of his zanpakuto to begin with. His hollow powers don't affect the look of it because they're less of a separate power but instead fused to his shinigami ones, and grant him the mask, vasto lorde form and the hollow attribute of his reiatsu. The quincy powers however do affect the look since unlike the hollow, they comprise of half of his power just like his shinigami powers. Since his father is a soul reaper and his mother is a quincy. So I would assume that Ichigo's reiatsu no longer has black in it, and his hollow derived abilities are gone, so he's left with OG Zangetsu and OG Tensa Zangetsu, minus the hollow, unless we assume his hollow and quincy powers returned after Yhwach's defeat. The reason I don't believe his "true" Bankai is his OG Shikai is because there's no form below it. That would mean that Ichigo is stuck in Bankai permanently post Yhwach.

@@easydubs420 Ik thats why I dont like that shared health system, back on the early gameplay vids I saw Naruto hit with a raw ultimate and that shit did a lot of damage, they need to either lower the damage or increse the health because this might end up being another Burning Blood where you can easily die in 1 combo.

@@gtr2798 you ever play Marvel vs Capcom? Dragonball FighterZ? 3 on 3 with seperate health bars makes it more challenging. Example: your down to 1 character you took out 1 of your opponent's characters but he/she has 2 more characters at full health to face you. And if your able to beat those odds its damn impressive.
This game however makes it to simple. Do as much damage as possible to any character and win. I still wanna play it dont get me wrong. But the competitive aspect seems rather bland at this point.
A shared health bar just defeats the purpose of choosing 3 characters. What's the point of having 3 characters when you have no reason to switch?

Whoever are the people working at bandai who thinks it's a good idea to share a health bar should get fired. I feel like the majority of people have complained about this and they haven't fixed it. I'm not tryna play min rounds, so hopefully they fix that in the future. Also, there are times where u can't see what's going on still. Idk if it's the camera angles or what....
Imagine having friends over. Passing the controller every minute would get annoying fast

Because its makes you think harder on how to survive longer. How to evade and strategize your moves to stay alive. It's more about survival. I mean how long do you think a single game would take with 3v3 especially if each health bar has like a 3 tier option where it goes green,yellow then red and then the next character comes out. Itll take way too long. That's my opinion on it.

In case some of you guys think Gon's finisher is too OP, those guys in the video explained (*yes I understand Japanese) that if Gon used his finisher, Gon himself is unable to fight SO the 2 remaining characters are what you have left to fight with.
Still doesn't make sense....it's not like each character has there own hp bar
The health bar is NOT the subject here, just only removing 1 playable character out of 3 after his finisher. This is a reference to HunterxHunter's "Restriction and Covenant" when Gon used all of his power against Pitou, resulting himself unable to recover after the fight.
And they should add trunks so i can have a sword team of ichio trunks and sasuke lol

It would be great if you had separate health bar for each character your fighting with in a match hopefully that’s an option but anyway I still do like the combat in this game anyway

I am an ichigo fan but I have to admit, that chapter was HALARIOUS! One of the best chapters imo, one that caused hugggge amount of controversy and rage! King of lightning reaction was 👌

I liked how they included his True Zanpakuto forms instead of his other ones but maybe it’d be cool if they included his other shinigami forms as skins. But they did Ichigo justice here, might pick up the game.

Hey, remember when Ichigo busted out that new powerful form, and it got ripped away from him by that bullshit villain Yhwach five minutes later? Ahh, good times. I still remember reading to the end, thinking about how predictable yet fricking ridiculous some of that story arc was.
More like 5 seconds later. Ichigo didnt get to do anything in that form .... and tbh it wasnt predictable we all expected his bankai to be.... used atleast. Ffs kubo

Dekkar Jones , I should be more precise with the point that THAT absorption moment wasn't entirely predictable (though I did predict Ichigo wouldn't win that fight alone). What was predictable was how the main villain was defeated. Once I saw that Tsukishima was involved in the plot, I immediately figured out that Aizen and Tsukishima would be able to trick Yhwach's "all-seeing eyes" into seeing an illusion and giving Ichigo his past powers by messing with his past. The overall war ended in a simple way, but there was a frigging mess up to that point. The villain was just SO overpowered, it made all the work put into the characters both heroic and villainous feel pointless.
Yhwach was possibly one of the most broken villains in shonen. The guy could see the future, absorb any power, become immune to any power he sees in the future and lastly change the future. But its confirmed that anyone who got their powers stolen from Yhwach got them back in the novels.

interesting so apparently in the JP version from what I see, the CPU enemy/boss at first acts super-defensive and/or focus on Maximum Charge until you actually get too close or hit him/her first then they become aggressive to the end? :)

I love it, it would be cool if Gon could actually kill the opponent if he's gonna sacrifice himself within that attack. It's pretty fair if you ask me because both are being taken out since it's a self destruct thing, or giving the option of us fighting with Gon in his big boi form would be fair too.

Are the transformations (Bankai, Super Saiyin, Gear 1-4, Sage Mode, 9 Tails Mode, etc etc) in the game cause this looks great.
I would like them to put more health or the attacks not to cause much damage (to have more battle time).
Also that the the characters of a team, didn't share the same health bar.
And please had more characters of each anime universe of this game.

i love j all stars so I hope they do a split screen when doing 2 players other wise its hard to play i really don't want to be looking at player ones charter if im player 2 and all i can see is his charter and mine is so far back that it gives you a headache because you cant see him
