I was in advertising too for eleven years when I met Y'shua. His first words: "The wife will go. The job will go. The children will go. The house will go." Two weeks later, half of the creative staff, including me, were given one month's notice. I was living the high life, and I had moved into a custom-built apartment a year earlier. I had no savings. I trusted Him because I was too stupid to do anything else. He said, "You will rely on Me and Me alone." So, I did not ask anyone else for anything. He took care of me and provided money from unforeseen people over and over again. Like He had told me, everything went away. But I had Him, the Love of my life. What man takes a bride and does not provide for her needs and desires? Y'shua, the Son of Man, the Prototype of Adam, provides for His Bride far beyond a mere mortal. Trust Him and tell Him so. Do not panic when He waits until the last minute and then after the last minute to give you what you need. He will come through for you. From advertising, you know what a false deadline is. I have discovered that the world always gives us false deadlines; so we can ignore them and just wait on the Lord. He has been taking care of me for fifteen years, and I've always had enough. So, it was easier to see the things that were wrong. And yes, you need to learn to let things go. That's part of the process of being a christian. I had to leave my house, my car, my partner, my friends, I was living in NZ. God wanted me back in Argentina (my home country), so I did. :) You need to let everything go, even your own will. God's will is the only thing that matters for a Christian. That's the ultimate goal. The detachment to this world should be complete. And the result of all of this process is that you don't belong to this world anymore. You belong to God. :)

Yes, this man puts it so well, that we can't be saved by our own efforts, because we fall so far short of the perfection of heaven. But God, through his Son, has made the impossible, possible. But we must seek Him and, like this man, we seem to only seek Him when we've had a terrible crisis and have nowhere else to go. Then Jesus is there, waiting for us and we realise that he is the Truth that we are searching for.

You are telling us really important thing. No man spoke like Jesus. That is very important point. We know there are many wise men in human history such as Socrates Budda .But Jesus spoke in different style. We can feel God's voice from his saying .
When Jesus/Yeshua speaks and we read those words they can only be described (I think) as Genuine. When you read or write enough you get a feel for the emotions of the words. Texts books on accounting are very analytical usually devoid of emotions. Some books like story books have that happy tone in sentences and disposition even without loooking at the pictures. When your read quotes by famous people such as Winston Churchill or George Washington you feel the emotion of anger, civility, humble, pride, grief. But Jesus words are the only ones that have an absolute genuineness to them. Just my thoughts

Amazing lines and transformation. I love the only lord mine and I'll serve him till eternity.. I'm from India and we got saved. My father was a namesake Christian and my mother was born in a Hindu family where her family used to worship millions of idols since she was a child she refused to worship those meaningless idols may be it was god's plan for her, when she was just 10 yrs old she came to know about Jesus and his love for her from no where. She got baptised and stopped anything that god hates at the age of 15yr without the knowledge of her parents. When her parents came to know about her they were angry and upset but god always saved her from ppls wrath. She married my father but was upset to know that they're too worldly ppl who knows Christ but never walked in his path. Her prayers in tears andshe asked god why did u give such ppl at my family? God appeared to her in the cross dropping his blood in a bowl saying you need to carry the cross for me and then she started praying more and more she saw some changes in him gradually and her prayers reaped joy after 26yrs of her wedding life and now our whole family walks in his path. Glory to God. Parent's prayers are more important for their children and I opened my eyes now and I'm 25yo. His mercy is truly enough. We serve the mighty god. Never have any doubt.

Every night I listen to the testimonies of Jewish people who have found Jesus. What they have to tell us is increasing our faith.
