I live near Laurel Falls you’re right that section and the 100 before is the most outstanding spiritual experiences. I hike them over and over now and never feel like I get enough. Everyday the sky, temperature the very nature is always different. I’m blessed to live here now. I came from just outside Bear Mountain NY..
Awesome vlog as always Jess! I personally love the waterfalls as much as the mountain vistas. And hiking around the big rock with the river on your left is one of my favorites views on the trail. Stay safe and happy trails!
Trying to catch up on your videos, and enjoying your style of vlogging very much. Very well done indeed, to you and those in your tramily. Bravo to all. I think it was on Day 35 that you asked for audio book recommendations... Mine would be "The Wager" by David Grann. Suffice to say, it has nothing to do with gambling, and is 'quite' an adventure, in a much different time and location. Enjoy. I hope to be fully caught up on your journey next week. Stay strong, and be safe. Have a great weekend wherever you might be. All the best, Jack NYC

Sometimes the red marking are used to mark boundary lines showing where private property begins.
Good video with some good views, nice beautiful water fall, so let's keep on hiking 😊
Red blazes typically mark properly boundaries between 2 parcels of land
U filmed a lot more of the surroundings in this video. Very cool
"Walked into a stick..." Hope to see Roan when not covered in Snow
Red blazes are most likely National Forest boundary markers.
Just a wonderful place to stay. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing the amazing views. Hope you beat the weather to Damascus. Keep crushing those miles Sassafras!

By the time you get to PA you will probably hit the rhododendron or mountain laurel in full bloom!
Soooo beautiful ❤
You and Gadget could pass for relatives of some sort. I enjoy your knowledge of what you see on trail i.e. flowers etc.
We get this a lot!
