The UEFA Champions League final this year was good. Two really strong teamsgoing at it with little between them.

You know that delbridge's goal was offside as of course the rule says so. This can be backed up with redmayne's dive. Notice how it is very late after the ball. Meaning he only just saw it when the ball passed wales. The only thing you salty victorians have to contest is Rhyan Grant's celebration not being a second yellow

The MC goal should have been allowed according to the rules of the game. The point at which the decision is made is when the ball is struck. The GK had a clear line of sight when MC struck the ball. To make matters worse the ball deflected off a SC player and so there is no justification under the rules for a free kick against MC regardless of anything else.
edit - just to make it clear once the ball has "rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent" that is the situation that gets tested. And there is no CLEAR OBSTRUCTION of the GK's view.
