My old music teacher always said "If you see someone playing or singing with their eyes closed, then they are playing with their heart and soul. And that is where the true beauty of music comes from and which makes you tear up and be thankful you're alive to hear it". The simple fact that I'm crying and smiling through half the song shows how true these words are. You two are amazing, if you ever come to Portugal, you can count on me to be there to listen!
Man I can only imagine the feeling that one would get when you have mastered a craft like this and every bit of your soul is just engulfed in the harmony and sound of your instrument. Almost magical. Like nothing else in the world matters just you, your cello and your bow.
This was my parents "song"; I am crying like a baby, I am so moved by this, the notes resonate w/my very being. I buried my patents together 5 years ago today. I feel they are dancing to this, because like music, Love Never Dies. I had that put on Mom's marker; Dad's is full of military honors.

They play with their hearts instead of their heads and that's why I like it so much and because they are so passionate about what they do. They really make the music come to life.
I really didn't notice that whistle until someone commented about it a few months ago. I heard it once I turned the volume up 100%. If I had been by that person blowing it...I would have knocked the thing out of their hand as far as it could go up in the air to land somewhere FAR away. LOL I can listen to this music over and over. They are great. More than great. I love that they bring the cellos to such a huge crowd. It's beautiful. Instruments are to be seen and heard...not some silly noise created by computer tech. This is .... real. *love*

All it takes is a different taste in music, and a little bit of getting upset about how exhaustingly cheesy and unoriginal an idea this whole "male models churning out cover after cover on classical instruments and making millions off of it while most original and interesting music doesn't even pay the artists rent"-thing is...then you hit that thumbs-down button, and boom! Dislike!
***** It is harder than you think to transcribe music to a particular instrument that it was not originally composed for. They take whole songs and do all of the transcribing themselves. They are also very accomplished classical musicians. They also come from humble backgrounds and worked their way up in the music world. They don't have many original pieces, but they do and they are great. You don't have to like their music...that's fine. But it looks pretty petty when you reduce them to just how good they look...like they should be ugly. So they are talented, good looking and came up with a marketable idea...what is so wrong about that?

And frankly, I simply do not care much for your perception of skill. I find their music to be utterly tasteless and cheap. Technique is by no means a guarantee for quality. Look, we may have gotten off on the wrong foot here. I'm sorry if I came across as patronizing or arrogant. Debating about taste is such a futile endeavor. I was trying to express my distaste for this particular kind of music (which, I realize, was not a particularly clever thing to do on youtube in the first place) and you're, obviously, free to disagree. I don't have an elevated sense of refinement or anything like that, I don't even have one favorite genre. I'm into lots of different musical styles and genres. I'm just tired of this comment-war nonsense (yes, even though I started it this time! I must've had a bad day then).
I grew up listening to my Dad playing different instruments. He played the cello for Southwest Washington Symphony for approximately 20 years before passing. He always played the violin at home for me too. Listening to you guys brings tears to my eyes. You’re so talented and play beautifully together! Thanks for sharing your gift with us ❤

I am a die hard U2 fan that does not care for most copycats either vocal or instrumental, but this made me float on the clouds, connected to all I have lost, and all I send love too daily.. Well, that particular song reminds me of last, he really broke my heart when left me...only took about 4/5 years to recover...I was obsessed...he just kinda loved me...but not enough to stay. No one since until Hauser and he put the smile back in life, not just the artist and musician but the entertainer!

These two have inspired a whole movement of individuals playing pop music on the cello. I have heard other renditions but the 2 Cellos have ruined it for me, they set the standard. In my opinion no one comes close to them. Every time I hear them play it is like the first time! Absolutely enchanting!
My husband started us out listening to thunderstruck....3 hours later, I'm still listening to their songs...and our friends are too. Very entertaining. So talented. I'm loving this . no words.just cellos. And drums. Wow. Just WOW
