Grand Admiral Thrawn was probably the only Admiral or leader in the Enpire that had the tenacity and strategic mind to fight the Rebellion, if he didn’t have to put up against Jedi he would have decimated the Rebels and everything they held dear.
Well after the new republic took kuat and Coruscant from the empire thrawn took control of the empire after isards incident and genuinely brought the new republic to the breaking point. Said just a few more battles of the new republic loosing good ships and the tide would have turned drastically

It may be possible that what Yoda was trying to convey was that one shouldn't limit oneself in the mind. Determination and persistence is key. We know that certain force users are much more powerful than others, which supports this argument that not everything is possible with the force, but we have also seen some force wielders fatigued from their use of the force.

this music perfectly shows the fact that most of what thrawn does is so that: 1) his people, the Chiss Ascendancy are safe from extra-galactic invaders 2) so that there is an army strong enough to resist those invaders as a result, the music isnt as dark, by far, as the imperial march
His theme feels more tragic, which kind of reflects the position he is in. His people are in danger, so he allies with the empire to try and help them. He believes that the Empire's government structure is better than the Republic, but he underestimates the evil that Palpatine is capable of. Ultimately, if the rebels didn't beat him, then the Emperor would have ended up seeking control over the Ascendancy, putting Thrawn in very bad position and possibly even using/forcing Thrawn against them. Talk about tragic.
I have been reading the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, and when this came up I clicked it because I wanted to see how good it was. The books are about his rise within the Empire, and they are really interesting, I would highly suggest them. Stay safe.
They just get better and better as i go. I'm a generally light sided person but i have so much respect for Thrawn and how he treats people and his intelligence. He's such a wonderful character.
Timothy Zahn actually is in the process of writing a prequel series to the Thrawn Trilogy right now. The first book is out and it's called Chaos Rising.
Call me crazy.. but Thrawn was always on of the most interesting characters in Star Wars. Rather than space magic or massive armies or super weapons, he fought using his intellect. He learned of his enemies before he even considered attacking. THAT is what I think makes a villain interesting-not only a reason for what they are doing, but the intellectual ability to rise to the top of their group and lead. It's the same reason I like psychological horror, rather than simple slasher movies.
Vader fought with his strength and skill. The Mandalorians fought with their creed. Palpatine fought with his mastery of manipulations. The droids fought with unquestioning obedience. Thrawn fought with the power of raw intellect and the application of it.
Thrawn's theme is as fine as his artistic taste and those who say otherwise, are filthy rebels who don't know anything about art. I almost shed a tear from how beautiful yet powerful this theme is...

Thrawn’s Theme is such and amazing piece. It really suits who he is as a character. Could you do more Rebels songs? Sabine Wren’s theme would sound beautiful on piano!
How Zahn describes him: He words were measured, without emotion or emphasis, but with a strength behind them; an absolute conviction. Calm, yet grim. A reasonable answer delivered in an eminently reasonable tone. His voice was under careful control. His expression was one of calm respect.
I must admit, this is the most gracious characters’ theme. If you’re a fanatic Thrawn fan you’ll understand how this describes him... it’s so tactical, this is art!
you're not just a piano, you're the whole orchestra, you got the piano skill level of a S+ tier (in other words, you got the highest skill level in piano that i can think of, and my mother was and still is a piano teacher, so that says alot, i'm certain she'd instantly approve of this) i love the song, thrawn's theme is the best, and even better with a specialist piano player doing it :)

It would appear finally we’re getting a hold back on the story. One of the greatest things they’ve ever done was return Thrawn to the scene. And by extension, they’ve brought about once again one of the most interesting (and powerful) factions in Star Wars: The Chiss Ascendancy.
Thrawn has to be one of the scariest villains in Star Wars because of his intelligence. His patience and strategic thinking is spectacular! Imagine Thrawn and Vader together, the best chess player ever and the destroyer. 😂😂
See that's what's so great about him to me is even though he he's working for the imperial Navy and serves the emperor I really don't feel like he's a villain completely. I've been listening to the thrawn trilogy audiobooks at my way to work everyday. He's really one of the coolest characters in Star Wars, (excluding Revan of course)
Throughout the whole piece we have the ominous sound which we have come to expect from the Empire, but sprinkled throughout we have these light almost hopeful sounds. As if to say, "If any good can come of the empire here it is." And it is drowned out again by the sinister, reminding us again that no matter how many good imperials there are it will never be enough
Thrawn is my favorite military strategist in all of star wars. So smart but still respectful, and rarely getting mad or frustrated. Also his backstory is so cool, like taking part in the clone wars, to defeating half of the early rebel alliance, to getting sucked into the unknown regions by purgill. Such a cool character, though not so accurately portrayed in rebels. He's awesome. Also love the music, it's great
Its funny how a man that doesnt believe in the power of music can have have a melody represent him so well as a theme song. Calm but powerful, relaxing yet keeps you on edge. Thrawn deserves more recognition in the universe.

Throughout the whole piece we have the ominous sound which we have come to expect from the Empire, but sprinkled throughout we have these light almost hopeful sounds. As if to say, "If any good can come of the empire here it is." And it is drowned out again by the sinister, reminding us again that no matter how many good imperials there are it will never be enough
Really hard to think of Thrawn as a villain when his theme music is so light and moving

Thrawn is my favorite military strategist in all of star wars. So smart but still respectful, and rarely getting mad or frustrated. Also his backstory is so cool, like taking part in the clone wars, to defeating half of the early rebel alliance, to getting sucked into the unknown regions by purgill. Such a cool character, though not so accurately portrayed in rebels. He's awesome. Also love the music, it's great

Its funny how a man that doesnt believe in the power of music can have have a melody represent him so well as a theme song. Calm but powerful, relaxing yet keeps you on edge. Thrawn deserves more recognition in the universe.
