- Just goofing around on the new 2012 Fender American Standard Tele, in sweet Candy Cola metallic red. Stock, no modifications. Playing through some quick presets in Eleven Rack, recorded into ProTools, smashed the levels with a limiter from Waves.
I also played some stuff from my in-progress full-length album! Enjoy.

Love the sounds the guitar can produce. Great playing! I have a 2004 american standard upgraded with custom shop pickups so it is essentially similar but without the body contour cutout. I was thinking of upgrading for the body contour ; bet it makes it nice to play.
Got a USA Std Strat and the Tele is next.....gotta choose a colour scheme? ....I love em all!

Yes, great tone. Sounds like a fair bit of compression whatever your settings were on your amp. So much more twang than my 91 Am Std Tele.
What depth this axe for certain, and Scott, way to handle that axe with precision!

Brilliant video. Good to see you play different styles of music instead of just jazz and country like other Tele owners. I would like to purchase this guitar and i wanted to know if it can handle melodic hardcore/metalcore styles and can you tune the Tele to low tunings like drop C to achieve that heavy tone. I leaning towards the American Standard Telecaster for my first guitar instead of the Gibson Les Paul Studio 2013. Keep up the great work. Thank you.

lol good to know that! I'm hoping to get one of these soon..too bad they're pretty expensive in my country..i'm a LP guy, but for me there is no such thing as a bad guitar..i would have them all if i could lol

There is no tele, other than a US made tele.
