They are a powerful combo, both are super talented and charismatic actors. I can't wait to see the result of their new work. It's always fascinating to see people performing at the top of their game and the fact that the movie is by an auteur like Jeff Nichols makes it even more exciting.
If they ever make Biker Mice from Mars live action one day, they should totally cast Austin Butler as Throttle/ Norman Reedus as Vinnie/ Tom Hardy as Modo
I think Butler had an opportunity to build on his talent by working with some of the best actors from England. As with many artists, such as British writers, they take their work more seriously - fame is secondary to being self best (excellence).
@@twittertwiceReally? Look at all the greatest actors and see the results for yourself. Ah, you likely think that Bugs Bunny is real - now that is childish! Have you ever read a classic?
He tried to make an imitation of Brando on purpose, because the guy he is playing, Johnny, is obsessed with a movie The Wild One and Brando is his idol, so it's definitely there.
@@twittertwicelol you’re getting defensive over a movie you clearly didn’t see bc there’s a scene in it where he’s watching The Wild One and copying Brando
Are people honestly into that guy who always radiates the notion of being in need of a room (get a room you two), and if it wasn't for some hitting on then he definitely would have enough to do with his own hands? The reciprocal distribution of mutual acknowledgement and flattering, the gibberish of self-importance in some cases is as unfathomable as it's the unquestioned main ingedrient of press events like this.
@@susanbarco2579 Austin Butler is an aggressive actor there is no emotional fluctuations or anything surprising. James Dean was a very intelligent actor. Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro are great because they are intelligent people with great skills. Austin Butler is far from intelligent and his skill is mimicking there is nothing original. I don't think he is even very good, he is just above average.
@@phantom213 I don't think anyone thinks him he is the even a very good actor. Just ask any other great actor. Every other great actor thinks very highly of Timothée Chalamet. I am not bitter I am just talking logically. He is very good at mimicking though you can call that great acting but through my lens great means something else.

Wanted to take a moment to mention how great Mia is as an interviewer. Always so collected, and offers meaningful questions and prompts.
👏 Great interview with Austin and Jodie. You can see the respect they have for each other and their craft 💯
Austin Butler is so great, fan of him since Elvis and now i'll watch this movie with him falling in love with Villanelle and vice-versa
i love how austin has always something good to say about his coworkers, directors... he is literally so cute. he always compliments them
Austin’s stylist needs a raise
I love this movie so much!!! Austin and Jodie and the whole cast was incredible it really is a must see!!
I love the way Jodie says … mmmm … Austin does it sometimes too. mmmm
Both special actors and Austin has a voice to die for 😅😅
My girlfriend's aunt is from Wisconsin, and she sounds so much like Jodie in the movie.
A true duo right here
These two guys interview really well hope the film is as strong as they and their characters are
Jodie the best ❤❤❤
These are such fantastic questions! The "Who does Kathy look up to" question is gold!
Im sure of these actors would LOVE for someone to NOT ask them about accents for the millionth time
Jodie Oscar campaign?
I wish she could be considered, but it's going to be tough this season. Even more than the last one :/
There's effortlessly cool, and then there's Austin Butler.
If they ever make Biker Mice from Mars live action one day, they should totally cast Austin Butler as Throttle/ Norman Reedus as Vinnie/ Tom Hardy as Modo
Place Beyond the Pines shoutout!
British actors are the best.
I literally forgot Austin was in once upon a time in Hollywood lmao
You should definitely give it a second watch, knowing he's in the movie
5:16 she felt that 🫦

oh please… your judgement about American actors is childish.

Best writers as well!
I don't think he cares about being famous, every person that have worked with him said he is very focused on the work even more than he should.
Anyone got an ID on Austin’s overshirt?
Homemade 😂
Austin Butler 4 favourites???
Jodie loves hearing compliments
Was Hardy's accent trying to be Marlon Brando from that old biker movie?
No! Hardy is beyond talented. he would never copy another actors. Clearly you know nothing about Tom Hardy’s work

Another recent film that seemed to be more about an idea and feel, than dialogue and plot.
5:46 that such a weird cut
Scouser maaaaate, Jodie has the scouser that isn’t painful on the ears😂 wacha meeeeaaannnn
🎵
good movie, but they had no connection during the movie to make you believe there was something at stake.

Austin Butler who thinks he is James Dean of this generation 😂
You know that’s what he thinks? Little jealousy there?

Many others think that about him actually. You sound just like a bitter TC fan. We get it, chill, please. Blind hate is a heavy baggage to carry.

Austin is insufferably cringe like Jared Leto. Both so narcissistic.
So mean
Nothing is cringer than anonymous nobodies hating online on successful/talented people. @@DamnFineCupOfCoffee
Nah he's not narcissistic. You have the wrong impression. Every single person who has worked with him have always said good things about him.
That's the takeaway you got from this interview? Narcissistic? He spent half the interview complementing Jodie on her own performance.
