I was using LAB for voice pitch use towards voice acting an old game that had no voice acting in it, and was getting frustrated with LAB's tendency to have very robotic sounds happening far too often. This video and the plugin itself was right on time with it dude :D keeping the formants at 0% with it is doing the trick for me. Thank you!
Little AlterBoy advantage is technically it’s simplicity. I honestly think getting all the tools in Soundtoys is worth it as an investment, especially because they won’t come back asking for renewal money like Waves. That said, only get it if it’s in your budget. I mean it. I’ve overspent over the years and I regret some of my purchases. If Graillon solved thd issue stick with it. If if sounds good then it’s good. 👍🏻
How does your version have the drop down menu to just select the scale you want to change it to? I bought the full version and it doesn't have that drop down menu

Usually you can do it with the formant control. Again, depending on the tool it might sound more or less natural. But as you could see on this video, no chimpmunk voices, I was going for the natural feel as much as I could, considering this plugin is free.

Tweak the knob you want, go to tools-automate last tweaked. Probably the quickest method for any automation.

I haven’t used FL in years. But I know you can refresh to look for the newly installed plugins. Have you tried that?

Does anyone know how to have the autotune run live through the microphone in stead of just using it on prerecorded vocals?
You can record with autotune on the way in. The only downside to that is that you won’t have control after the recording to tweak anything.
If it’s Anteres. Turn live mode on. And turn low latency tracking on as well and you should be good to go as long as you have your inputs correct
Is it worth upgrading?
I never got the upgrade. But I’ll reach them out and see if they can send me a full copy to do a review ok the premium features.
