    This is such a good talk that I put it second on my Playlist: Reviving Extinct & Endangered Life. I have been quite impressed with all of the scientists and speakers in the TED De-Extinction Conference. They have knowledgeable and able to impart that knowledge to the public. This has been a great series.

    Beth Shapiro is just what a scientific speaker should be. She is smart, attractive and well-spoken with a great sense of humour. She thoroughly knows and understands her subject. One is able to enjoy learning from her.

    Still a bit more excited for space exploration but this is cool too. A baby mammoth would be awesome to look at

    I have heard this woman speak a couple of times on de-extinction. She is a very smart lady; very attractive too.

    How to clone a mammoth is amazing

  • @michealsky7966
    @michealsky7966 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    So to clone the mammoth you need to sequence the DNA, what if you had whole full frozen specimens that had intact reproductive organs?What then?

    • @clauescorpio0825
      @clauescorpio0825 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Que aunque esté completo el animal congelado y sus órganos intactos,es posible que la secuencia de su genoma no esté completo y que esté contaminado con adn de bacterias,plantas y hongos ,por lo cual no sería posible utilizarlo para obtener un animal 100%igual

    RosyOutlook2 and Meekseek. Who are you to call anyone a moron or a psychopath? Just the fact that all you know how to do is to hurl an ad hominem and not even explain what your own beliefs are and why you are opposed to what the speaker is saying shows that you are not well equipped to think. Stop attacking educated professionals because what they're saying or what you think they're saying goes against the content of beliefs you were indoctrinated into and you don't have the mental resources to handle it.
