I absolutely love this character! The first time my sister showed me the Lobster Bisque video, I didn't even finish it because of the level of annoying that his voice and stupidity is on. But I came back later, after watching many other Studio C sketches, and I am now officially addicted to this Bisque character!! He is hilariously adorable!
"She might... if she's hungry enough!" My fiance worked at an orchid shop for a while and he would bring me bouquets often... I'm glad he still loved me after I ate a few of them. (Tasted like fancy lettuce)
He is seriously the best character on this show. So far, he continues to be unpredictable and obnoxious without retreading old ground. Excellent writing, excellent acting.
P.S. Every episode has "Five _____, five _____, five.. children.." and almost everytime, "What is this, a stinkin'.. (this time was bouquet, last time was buffet xD)?!"
I have a theory about the Bisque Man. He and his wife were happily married for 17 years. His whole family went out for seafood on a cold winters day, because the Bisque Man knew his wife loved seafood. His wife had just commented on his suit saying it was plain and boring. The Bisque Man and his family were enjoying the meal, until his wife got up, and said, "I don't love you anymore." She left and took the five kids and went out of the seafood restaurant. The Bisque Man, who had just ate a large chunk of lobster started choking. He woke up 5 days later, with a heart rate monitor strapped to his chest and no memory of who he was. The only thing he could remember was a vivid image of a lobster, and his five children. SO now to this day, he sells lobster Bisque in hopes that his wife who loves sea food, and his five children will walk in and try some.
