That's why whenever hes talking with Jules he is negging her and and objectifying her. He plays off of both vulnerabilities to get what he wants. Deep connected chats with rue when shes high, and some seggs from Jules whom he finds physically attractive. He is the one that suggested robbing alcohol, not Jules. And he also knew rue took opiate drugs. Thats a particular choice is it not? I'm not saying Jules is right for cheating, but Elliot definitely has some kind of game going on with both of them.

My interpretation of the labyrinth scene is that after she takes those four pills she has a very strong (and spiritual) hallucination. It’s her self conscious trying to heal. She wants to hear that she isn’t a bad person, that she is loved. She wants to talk and be with her dad. With the narration over the top I feel like in the moment she feels a spiritual love and a connection with God. The narration is talking about love eternal. I’m hoping she’s had a breakthrough/turning point and she will want to try and get sober again. The problem is even if this vision has made her want to change she’s still in deep with the drug dealer!
Rue takes drugs to reach her Euphoria, her dad. Notice how when she gets really high she sees her dad (i.e. all of us)? That’s what she is chasing, a chance to “reunite” with her father. And that’s what that scene is. She is in pain, deep pain over losing him. What it might mean overall as a turning point, we will have to see. But for now, it’s a visual representation of her being so high, so close to death, she meets her “euphoria”…her father. I don’t think she OD’d but she is conscious of her actions & she cares but she is just tired of hurting, tired of needing. It’s why she doesn’t care if she dies.

I think its so ironic that Jules was on the defense because she thought Rue was gonna cheat on her with Elliot but then turns around and does it herself once he shows any interest? I feel like Elliot just wants Jules to do ~inappropriate~ things with and to do drugs with Rue. But he knows he can't do both while theyre together. I think that’s why these last episodes have felt even more chaotic than usual. Everyone’s saying rue ODd, but really she’s still got to deal with Laurie who is going to end up pumping her full of heroin. Then going to attempt to sell her into sex trafficking. But she’s going to be reported missing and that’s what the cop cars are doing in the teaser. Boom? Boom.

Generally if the drug powder in a show is brown, like what they had in Elliott bathroom it’s heroin. The bag Rue was making her way through in episode 1, 2 and 3 was Faye’s heroin. That’s why she kept it in a box with a spoon and needle. The patch Rue sucked at the end of the last episodes was fentanyl, which is ten times stronger than heroin. That’s the real concern, it’s meant for dying people who can stay on it until the end because they won’t need to detox and come off it.
