rewatched this only a few days ago and I already feel like watching it again, so slow, yet engrossing and captivating❣

I found your page, watched a few videos, and then saw the number of subscribers. This is a crime to the TH-cam algorithm. You're doing a great job.

Thank you for your labor of love. I never watched these years ago, but recently felt an urge to watch. Something about the street scene (shooting hats) really stuck with me. I guess I could say, these two both operate at a level above most people, and they sense that in each other, and are sort of checking each other's calibrations. An ordinary person probably would feel the need to react to an affront, and would quail at having someone point a gun at them, but that's not what's going on here. It reminds me of a scene from the Chinese classic Journey to the West, where Monkey wants an audience with the master and busts in on a meeting with all the monks sitting there. The master scolds him and slaps him three times. All the monks see this as what an irreverent monkey deserves; but Monkey knows the master is telling him to come see him at the stroke of three. By the way, on the topic of cinematic study of faces, I feel one ought to mention Kurosawa in that regard. Thanks again--
