He teaches better because he doesn't have a classroom of students to disrupt him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Do you think he'd be able to do this when he's got 24-30 junior high students causing a variety problems while he's trying to explain all of this?
No one can teach chemistry better than Tyler DeWitt. He's literally outstanding and he's doing a remarkable job. Thank you very much sir for great videos like this.
My teacher in Chemistry is an old man and i can't under stand a thing he's saying. He hands us loads of work sheets only murmuring what to do as the rest of the class talks over him. I just really wanted to thank you for your explanations. I feel as if my parent's money is being wasted on a school that is not so academic, yet very expensive. Sorry if you already are, I have just come here, but, you should take up a job as a teacher at a high school or a university lecturer. I am a year 10 boy, and failed my first test and thanks to you, I aced the following test! Kind regards, Kelpo
thank you soo much! i'm not even doing this for school yet and i still understood everything you said! (i just love learning about this stuff... ik nerd alert) great teacher!
Tyler thank you so much you explain it very well, when my teacher and tutors teaching methods didn't help me understand your videos helped me tremendously, Thank you and keep it up :)
I think he has the dislikes because non english speaking people did not understand him. I cannot understand why someone wouldn't like his videos. They are sooo clear and thorough. Keep it up man!!
Why isn't i am not in his class. This whole way of putting paper and explaining in very clear and understandable. Way he makes it sounds seems very approachable subject. thumbs up
I'm SO GLAD you took a moment to go over how roman numerals work. For years I've had teachers look at me with their judging eyes as if I'm stupid for not knowing roman numerals. Which of course, makes me too embarrassed to ask for an explanation, and then I'm left silently struggling and simultaneously pissed off. Thanks for not assuming my level of prior knowledge. You have really helped me.
💀one quick google search would have solved your Roman numeral problem. Ever since the 1st grade everyone’s expected to know that kind of stuff. If you don’t know it, eh it’s your problem.
I heard that the first two groups of the periodic table, the last four groups, the Transition Metals Section, and the Lanthanides and Actinides sections are called the s, p, d, and f sections, respectively.
So, what about something like Zinc? It seems that in general Zinc doesn't use parentheses because it usually forms a 2+ charge. It makes If there are transition metals that don't have multiple charges do you just memorize those ones?
I read my book Chapter 6 by Karen Timberlake, read all the 176 power point slides that came with that chapter. Was clueless to whatever the heck was even going on! Watch 4 of Tyler's videos...... Chemistry is CAKE!!!!
Please make some videos on topics like Quantum numbers, ionization enthalpy, electron gain enthalpy, hybridization..... I can't understand whatever my teachers taught me
Sir please tell me about polar and non polar molecule and their solubility . and different between Alkane and Alkenes and their Solubility. I have found lots of videos over here but I could not found the Lecturer like You. You tell us in easy way from the core of the subject. please help me sir . I have and Impotent Civil Service exam few days latter
He teaches better than my chemistry teacher
Niaomi Damn straight
Savior of my Chemistry Grade 🙌
Niaomi agree

Him and the OGT are legends
You know he cares when includes a lesson on how to read Roman numerals. May God bless you 🙏❤️.
Tyler is back to save my grades !!!!! Thank u so much
Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. You are like the best chem teacher in the world
Are you still alive
Sir, I got a 100% on my chemistry test just because of you. Thank you.
Who else here the day before your exam lol
Me lmao
I’m here 15 minutes before mine
Me lol
I’m here during it
15 min before my test LMAO
They should name an element after you:)))

You're ten years old and you're doing chemistry?
Jesus.
ahah no man when I said 'I'm a year 10 boy' i meant i'm in year 10 as in 16 years old hahahahah
You are just so good at explaining things because you start at ground zero- which is usually where I am. Thank you!
oh man... i dont know how to thank you... i spent the last two months trying to understand this issue... thanks a lot from Saudi Arabia 🌹
Thank god you started making videos again please make video on basics physics videos.
This man is so underrated! He deserves more!
I can learn very good when you teach than the other teachers that I had.❤
thank you soo much! i'm not even doing this for school yet and i still understood everything you said! (i just love learning about this stuff... ik nerd alert) great teacher!
I hv been finding numerous youtube chem tutorial and I hv finally found u !!! yayyy thank you so muchhh
Tyler thank you so much you explain it very well, when my teacher and tutors teaching methods didn't help me understand your videos helped me tremendously, Thank you and keep it up :)

Dude, love your videos. No seriously, I'm not kidding. Love them.
He's back
Your videos are my new go-to. They are fantastic. Thank you so much for your content.
just started teaching physics and chemistry and im still relatively new at this. this helped a lot
My professor links these videos in the Chapter Review because you teach it so well. Thanks Tyler.
i subed this guy because he explaines everytinh i dont understand
Thanks for sharing this videos, helps all the time😊😊
Bro I learned this today and i didn't understand about the roman numerals and now i do, thank you so much
You are the best chemistry teacher sir really
I wish my teacher would just put your videos up because she just confuses us 10 times more than we were before
You are saving my life
What are you talking about???
watching all his ionic formula videos and i have learnt more then in a semester
I am very much inspired by your way of teaching sir .
I think a students grade reflects the ability of the teacher so I give him an A+
I'm so thankful for your videos x.x This is all making sense to me now, thank you so much
Where'd you go?! Your videos are extremely helpful and makes each lesson simple and easy to understand!
I love how you explain chemistry! Thanks!
You really help me out in chemistry.... Thank you so much
Why isn't i am not in his class. This whole way of putting paper and explaining in very clear and understandable. Way he makes it sounds seems very approachable subject. thumbs up
Could you do some videos relating to AP Chemistry concepts?
i cant say loosey gooesy in the exams but great video
they r far away frm nucleus so less electrostatic charge between nucleus and electrons..so they give away elecron easily (number varys in diff temp)
Thank you so much for posting this video!!! I really did not understand transition metals. This helped quite abit!!!
Thank you so much! It make it so easy and simple to understand.
this guy is a living legend
Oh my god I've missed you so much!!!! I really like your explanation
No Way you actually uploaded?????
I watched this video in Junior high, came back in senior high, and now during college 😭
grrrr.
good videos, beautifully explained and making the subject interesting , a perfect chemistry teacher. Thanks and waiting for new lessons.
Wow you are really good I gotta Chem final tomorrow and damn I understand everything because of you I'm totally subscribing
You are amazing....I find chemistry easy with you💯💯💯
Really made my concept clear.
What if the Roman numeral is not given huh??
His videos are more satisfying than soap cutting videos
The king is back !!!!

Great explanation. What are the colors of ions Ti 2+ and Ti 4+?
Welcome back, Tyler. :)
your a great teacher!
(and I have a BA in Education)
This guy is 😍
Hello. You are so good. But, can I ask something? Is it possible to create metal through ions?
No
Pls Tyler can you make a video on coordination chemistry? Love your style
Thanks for the great video. Can you make a video later on about writing formulas for covalent compounds
Who watches this dudes videos after chem class because their teacher is bad at teaching?
I heard that the first two groups of the periodic table, the last four groups, the Transition Metals Section, and the Lanthanides and Actinides sections are called the s, p, d, and f sections, respectively.
Could you do Organic Chem?? That'd be AWESOME.
Thank god u are back !?!
you're back!
Can you do a video on metal complexes and there reactions such as ligand substitution and hydrolysis?
You’re the besttttttttttt 😫!!!! Thank you!
Wish you the best you helped me out soooooo much
Thank you
You are just the best 👌 , thank you

When you lose all hope and your teachers don't teach but expect to give you an exam out of nowhere so you turn to TH-cam
Very good teacher
bro how u such a genius
u r back yey
You are awesome sir
Thanks a lot it is still helping me
I'm going to look up the meaning of that term "loosey-goosey" in my physical chemistry textbook ...
Can I just say... you rock?!!! :p
That better be a pun.
Superb. Thank you Sir.
6 years later l am still watching your videos

you save my life ery time. gracias papi
are there any transition metals with negative charger? if so how would you write them
This helped a lot. Thank you
lmao day before chem midterm, thanks man
But how do you know how many charges transition metals have? Is that just something we have to memorize?
Can the transition metals have/create negative ions?
Sir I request you to please make more videos related to coordination compounds and about solutions chapters
Thank you very much Tyler!!!
Please make some videos on topics like Quantum numbers, ionization enthalpy, electron gain enthalpy, hybridization..... I can't understand whatever my teachers taught me
i have question plz does group 8A known as transition metal
ok thanx
You are the best
bro u'd swear my teacher is paid to confuse us , this is simpler than what she taught
u are sooooooo greattttt
Saved my life
My teacher put “Tin Oxide” but isn’t Tin a transition metal? How do I know which one to use? She wants us to write the gram formula mass
