Beautiful razor. Beautiful shave. Carry on, my friend. I find so many of the drive-by assassins never have any shave videos themselves. Don’t let them weary you or deter you.
Thank you for sharing your time making these videos. I didn't realize that your dorko razor's edge lasted that long. There is something about the "shefield grind" with the gentle smile and slight thicker grind. Such an elegant form. I find it the most comfortable for a face/neck shave. But for the head, I prefer a smaller smile for some reason. I look forward to more of your honing videos when you get the time. I hope you and your family are keeping well. Cheers.
MORE JACQUES ! PLEASE....not less ! Youve added so much to our shaving enjoyment, especially your shave numbers info 157 shaves on a Dorko vs Trevors Woolfblades RWL34....fabulous test !!!!🎉. Your shave descriptions are such essential veiwing .....I will keep promoting your totally honest channel ❤. Please keep them coming 🙏. Your info is essential ! ( give my highest regards to our great Trevor Woolfson who we both admire greatly ! ) Wonderful dapper shaves video ❤.
Nice to see you again Jacques. I have a similar razor with different scales. It's a fantastic razor. Trevor's edge is really smooth. I have added my own edges on all my WoolfBlades. However, I think the factory edge can hold a long time if it's able cut your specific beard. Also if you are prepared to put in the work to get the lather hydrated and the skin is prepped properly, the factory edge will probably work well for most users. I think Trevor have found a sweet spot with his edges. Take care.
Learning a lot from your videos so thanks once again brother! I got myself a chubby 2 recently but struggling to build good lather - I either go overboard with the water or there is too little I can’t seem to find a good balance. Also it seems it’s not holding as much lather as I would expect to for the second and third passes. Do you have some tips on using the brush effectively? I soak it fully submerged for 10-15 mins and then squeeze it quite a bit before starting to load. Am I doing something wrong?
That's some good going 32 and still going . I've got chubby3 Manchurian and I do find it a bit to big I wish I'd got the 2 . Nice shave jack . I've got to sell some of my razors I'm keeping the one you have but sadly I just can't get to use them all as I shave twice to 3 x a week

@@MyBlancpain load it like you stole it, then add water. what soap are you using? thank you for the kind words. best wishes
@@dappershaves I am using various soaps - .e.g Cella, Noble Otter, Wholly Kaw. Have a bunch. Which soap do you find it best with? Hard or soft soaps?
@@MyBlancpain soaps are fine, just load heavy and then lather.
