    How about reducing it? After you removed the leaves pour the extract back in the pot and let it simmer slowly until only half of it is left. The tannins will still be there, but with less water in the mix.

      Yes I’ve done that in the past as well. For my purposes the qty of tannins really didn’t matter.
      The ones like the old school tetra or the Sera one I’m sure are made exactly that way

      All depends on the look you wish to achieve. More is darker

    Any expired sir after boil tannic acid ?and what basically preserve material to maintain the shelf life this black water ??🤗

      I tend to always make into
      In small batches for that very reason… elk truthfully also because I very rarely am allowed to do such things in my wife’s spotless kitchen
