the problem is that square enix,(not squaresoft) has some dificult at writing diffrent characters, so everyone except for kefka talk like a monk, there needs to be only one monk and other personalities to interact with him, at least kefka is not screwd up
Except the joker had more depth and an actual back story, and was more subtle, although in Dissidia all the characters are pretty much Flanderizations and the games are pretty much non-canon fan service.

Kuja is just a man yearning to be more than a disposable villain only to die with only his "brother" by his side. Exdeath is, the "Dark Lord" archetype, sure, but his game embraced it and wrote the most powerful villain in the franchise and did the one thing most of the villains couldn't be, and that is a tangible threat! And the fact, his existence is due to human recklessness is fascinating to me.

I honestly think Kefka and the Joker are overated. They crack jokes and all of a sudden they're the best villains ever. Square did a pretty crap job with personality in Dissidia and gave Kefka all the best lines. Though I haven't tracked a copy of FF6 I do respect Kefka from what I've seen of him in the FF6 conclusion and in 012, I just think think his jokes hinder his effectiveness as a villain.
@MeingroessterFan see I'm better at tactical planning (being a cold bitch who carefully plots to win) so "mad" just doesn't suit me. I actually bluff for extended periods of time at the start of matches, looking like I don't know what I'm doing and then I unleash a sudden instakill on my opponents. :3 I've pissed a lot of people off doing that. and cpus are stupid so I'm not even including them.
Well, really... If this Kefka had the same personality as the Kefka from FFVI, when Kuja said: "Will you not stop talking? It gives me a headache everytime you open that mouth of yours.", Kefka would surely answer: "And who do you think you are, you worthless piece of junk? Now you'll pay for your insolence to a GOD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!", and would kill him with his Death Ray. (=p)

@BlueKiss131 Difference is Kuja is not Kefka, therefore his opinions don't matter. Granted, by Kefka's philosophical views on life, no one's views ultimately matter, so by the note of true Nihilism no one is truly getting annoyed here, for they don't truly exist anyway. therefore they must be destroyed to reflect their true level of non-existance!
