Wow! Been a logger for 42 years (cutter & driver). I've never seen anything like this in the bush! And just like that, you can drive a tiller fire truck!!!👍🚒👍👍👍
Awesome video! I have been driving trucks for 16 years and I would be sweating bullets running that load, great driver and good team work. Can you post a video of the trailer car? How it works etc...
Now that’s something that could tempt me into moving back west! I sure miss those days of escorting those beauties down the hill and out of the woods and to the mill. That is an amazing Vid. Can’t stop watching it!
Pretty sweet setup. I have never seen anything like it. Also, Tree huggers: see how the little trees grow back after the timber is cut? Looks like good forestry management to me!
Thirty years ago , used to see this same set up hauling poles and bridge beams , out of Springfield Or. the steer cars they called 'jeeps' back then . Hope they have better heaters in them now! Old diesel heaters would gas a guy out!.That gal driving has real guts. Todd the retired truck driver.
Dang! good work men! I loaded some 95s,90s,85s and an 80 or two. 14 total I believe. real nice transmission wood 9n that beautiful truck of yours. even got me a coffee cup! Bell pole, Newport, WA
As a fellow Pole buyer. This video is amazing!! Good job to everyone involved to this point. Most people have no idea what it takes to get the LONG timber/poles out of the woods. Thank you.
Always had a respect for all the folks that work the hills. Takes a special kinda person to do it. So My hats off to everybody From the feller to the shovel operator And I got to say You log drivers might be a little bitter sometimes. But damn you kids got skills!!!! ... little love from the eastside
That was some pretty cool flying and video coverage whenever y’all flew the drown underneath the arm of that link belt loader. Awesome video! Y’all make it look so easy hauling those big logs. 👍🏻
When hailing off road, Ft. Nelson,B. C. we put those on top of the load, they stick out over the front of the cab and drag on the ground out back. Regular highway trucks but 14’ bunks on the ruck and 12’ on the trailer, 2 ice bridges to cross but no sharp corners,
Learned first hand when I was just a teenager working in the woods for Johnson Bros. in Concrete Wa. in the very early sixties. On one trip out we broke a pole that was around a hundred thirty feet. I could hear my boss praying and cussing at the same time and when it broke he hollered thats a five hundred dollar mistake that your gonna pay part of. There was no way that tree was going to make it but we tried. If we had bucked off about ten feet then we would of had something but the boss said no. I was almost happy when it broke but life goes on
That's the best pole footage on the interwebs! I like the suicide car idea for haulin poles off a job too, that's the first time I've seen that setup and not that I'm any kind of fetched up on the subject but that there is a slick setup. You guys are working yer way up to best drone content for logging bar none, keep up the good work and don't stop thinking outside the box either
*WOW!* I didn't know they even cut and processed logs that long! They must be worth a freaking Fortune to justify the hauling expense! I've got a million and one questions, how do they steer the back end? What do they use them for? Yada yada yada
Steering that trailer would be quite the ride being down low and not being able to see behind you. When the poles are dragging on the bank you could feel it hoping it won't push you over the bank!
Man and I used to think 75ft poles were a hand full. But I was hauling mine on a 40ft trailer. Took out a few Stop signs on those left hand turns. Would love to see more of this for sure.
This is what I love about loggers, a normal person would say you can't get logs that long down that road and a logger says wanna bet. Awesome video.
Absolutely. Thanks for watching.
A logger says "hold my whiskey ans watch this"
The Higbee's if the nose of the truck fits the rest will follow.
Ever driven windturbineblades?
Great job keeping your equipment nice and clean, love the black Peterbilt!
Gotta love my brother and sister-in-law! They work so hard and love what they do. Love you guys!
So that’s a husband wife team? Nice!!! Would like to see a video walk around of that trailer
Wow! Been a logger for 42 years (cutter & driver). I've never seen anything like this in the bush! And just like that, you can drive a tiller fire truck!!!👍🚒👍👍👍
Great video! Going by the banks on the corners it looks like you have done a few loads out of there.
Skidder Kev yeah they have done quite a few.

I use to live up here in those mountains. Great place to visit. Work, and live, not so much... This job does look like fun though.
When hailing off road, Ft. Nelson,B. C. we put those on top of the load, they stick out over the front of the cab and drag on the ground out back.
Regular highway trucks but 14’ bunks on the ruck and 12’ on the trailer,
2 ice bridges to cross but no sharp corners,

Cool video... never seen that small cab in the back before
Can you try to get a view out of the rear car under the load where the second driver in setting would be cool to see their view of it all
That's some awesome footage. I don't know who is in the steerable at the back, but it wouldn't be me!
Yeah that looks nerve racking
Blue Line Land Works, I assume the person in the back has communication with the driver up front?
Yes they do. It is a husband wife team.
Blue Line Land Works, that's awesome! Great footage too! 🙂👍
