Thanks, but I wasn't keen on seasonal music! The most important and worrying thing, however, is that you played the music over the soldering. It needs to be stressed that lithium batteries should not be overheated by excessive use of a soldering iron. Best wishes from London UK.

Superb video showing how to open up a laptop battery, test the cells and replace the bad ones. I would have loved to see troubleshooting and repair of battery circuit as well.
I believe some laptop battery packs will self-destruct if you remove a pair of cells or cut off the voltage to the controller board in the pack. Thus when the cells are replaced, the pack will refuse to work, and laptop will not recognize it. This is done to stop tampering of the sort you see in the video. I believe if you maintain the voltage when replacing, by using an external power source, this barrier can be circumvented .

I don't recommend replacing few cells with totally different brand . As different cells made by different manufacturers react differently when plugged to recharge . You will overheat or potentially blast
No. Because the charge is balanced.
Took my Sony battery pack apart and taking the pack apart was the hardest. Replacing the cells, no problem. Thank you.
thanks
bro
Ok
Superb. I have a pavilion g6 i5 laptop. My problem is, it stops charging several times during a charging process. Backup is not my problem but charging+ stop charging+ charging+stop charging and then again charging is the main problem for me. Thanks
Excellent!!!
