I'm 35 and I own fully loaded MKS. Its really nice car to drive. Its affordable luxury. But sadly many people don't appreciate that and looking for European cars. Every American should drive American cars, you need to support our economy, these care are much better quality and reliability than before.
Right on. They think they have to buy European or Japanese luxury cars to be cool. Sadly, all their doing is killing the North American auto industry and are to naïve to realize how this is has been killing jobs as well. But, they obviously don't care.
I was 36 when I bought this amazing SUV. It is enough to satisfy a driver enthusiast when put into S mode and those seeking a soft, luxurious ride. I must also say my 2016, has nearly 100kms, and I've got no complaints....I couldn't be happier with it.

I saw this up close at the NAIAS, and I thought this was more luxurious than the Cadillac SRX and some of the other contenders. Lincoln is definitely putting out good products. ...way underrated.
Loved this, even if I'm a 30-something year old that owns one of these ;). This thing is fun as hell.

Quality feel is real with this one...Had one for a couple of days in so cal and couldn't believe how quiet and smooth it was in the traffic on the 405. 3.7 V-6 ran smooth and the Pano roof never creaked!
Just got one yesterday and I am 27 years old, reserve equipment with everything except revel and adaptive led headlamps. Amazing vehicle!
Wow I'm 23 & I want this car used to replace a 300C with the 5.7L V8 that feels like a land boat but has a good sound system & good speed pickup

+Sheth Jones It was parody, not an endorsement of those stereotypes. A clever approach to acknowledge something that has plagued this brand, and a challenge to the viewer to change their thinking.

You know what would be great? if these reviewers just end the old people bit already. It is tired! Just review the fricking car. You are not Lincoln's marketing department but a brand will not improve its buyers age if you have people like this guy telling younger people not to buy. At this point, Lincoln is not the problem, it's these "journalists". Another question, why do these reviewers believe young people do not want cushy luxurious rides too?

Much improved exterior looks for Lincoln, but the dash still looks too similar to the Ford dashes. Can't believe they have a Revel audio system in there though that's awesome.
I had one as a loaner when I took my 2008 MKX for service, very nice and fast, it had more options than the one in the video but it wasn't fully loaded, I'm in my early 30s and wouldn't mind having one but the price went up so high, back in 2008, fully loaded WA between $45-47k, now it can go as high as $67k
No one is going to mention the fully loaded price of almost 70k? wtf

This car is actually starting to grow on me,although I'll need Sync 3 on the infotainment front.
Lincoln has a very weak brand at this point. No one was interested in their MKC, which launched against no new competition 2 years ago. This is a bigger version of that going against an all-new Lexus RX and coming Cadillac XT5 this year, the two top sellers. Their timing for this release is awesomely bad, but I don't think it really matters. Lincoln dealers are not luxury top-tier. Not ready to play with the big boys. They need to undercut the competition, significantly, to gain market share.
under-cutting competition doesn’t always lead to marketshare. there are early adopters who are looking for a change of the vanilla style luxury that the "big boys" are offering. i like the direction they are taking and including the amount of features included in the fully loaded examples do offer great value at a lower price. simply put they still have physical buttons on the dash that for some reason manufacturers are trying to get rid of, ask cadillac how thats working for them. anyone considering these cars go for a test drive, and see it for yourself. they said hyundai cant make a luxury car and now we have the genesis. times they are a changing.

My point is the vehicle is fine. The brand is the weakness. People aren't out to get a Lincoln. This will take a long time to change.

The sound that front camera cover/logo makes when moving back into position doesn't inspire much confidence.

Everything looks good on this car BUT the front end. The front end of all Lincolns the last few years have just been polarizing, just bleh to me. I think that's all it really needs. Thumbs down for the SUV but thumbs up for this funny opening!

RX is fugly srx is not even a comparison maybe the new one will be.
Definitely RX is not fulgly; sales numbers speak for that. And I said XT5 not SRX
+Nima Bahrehdar To each its own, but the sales numbers are driven by reputation and the name, which Lincoln does not have. Camry had a rush update, so did the civic both at/near the top in sales yet both design problems. MKX looks classy, the way the older RX did the way BMW or Merc do. RX now in its desperate need to appeal to a younger buyer is pushing its design which in my opinion will not look good in 2-3 years and I'm sure the sales will still be there. Yes you did say XT5 time will tell but again caddy has a better reputation now the Lincoln. On the other hand Titanium Edge is not a fair comparison at all.
Jakob Cabala thanks for your opinion. Let's say it's subjective. I don't like new Lincoln looks at all except for the new Navigator. At the same time, I love new Lexus RX and NX. And I am 34. I just got an NX

The intro to this was, to be nice, the worst intro I've seen. Let's stereotype everything about anyone over 60. What the hell were you thinking. It wasn't funny. It wasn't even amusing. I'm stopping here before because my mama said if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.
my wife and I loved the previous 2011-2015 mkx but we didn't like the 2016 mkx at all. there wasn't anything we liked on or about this car. this car is very small inside and uncomfortable.2016 MKX has a big ugly dashboard and the radio area in this car sits terribly high, seats are hard and narrow. We are no longer buying anymore Lincoln mkx.
we still have the wonderful luxury 2011 MKX and will be getting the Lexus RS350 next.
we wanted to stay with Lincoln MKX but Lincoln change the previous style to this ugly uncomfortable terrible style.
