SURF - 0:00 FRIENDS Snowboard SESH - 7:36 KIDS Snowboard - 10:27 FRESH POWDER DAY - 14:20 I realize not EVERYONE wants to watch the kids snowboard, so here are time stamps for certain parts of the video... But for any families out there, I'd hope you get a kick out of watching the whole thing :)
I document my whole life. Mostly its surfing, but sometimes it’s fishing, sometimes it’s other stuff I enjoy filming, and maybe once a year it’s snowboarding. The reason I put the timestamps is so that you can skip it if you don’t care to watch. I’m stoked you did end up enjoying it though! But please don’t ever expect this Channel to be only surf. It’s life.
That first time you get to the top of the mountain with the whole family is like a rite of passage. So rad you were mindful of it, that’s a special moment for everyone 🤙🏼
Dude... 30 degrees Fahrenheit is 0 degrees Celsius by what we go by in Australia and that's freeeezing and I grew up surfing in Tassy but it's doesn't get that cold that often where I grew up on the North West coast Tassy. Savage!!! What an awesome family experience that I will never experience and after just fresh getting clean thanks to Ben Gravy I'm very awake and emotional and that vlog gave me goose bumps and brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing that experience with your (me) viewers Brett.
Can't get any better than that, ocean to the mountains !! Awesome family trip! I wasn't sure if there was something wrong with my old phone because it started to look like an 80s video game, i couldn't figure out who was filming then realized you were without the pole LOL! Very cool effects! Thanks again for taking us along for the ride always makes my day!
Maybe the best POV video I've ever seen. I might be a little bias because I Love the OBX. But really, excellent video, thanks and that looked real fun :)
I love this channel! Reminds me of growing up surfing and fishing in Carolina. I grew up surfing south of there around the Cape Fear, breaks on Kure Beach, Masonburo Island, Pelican watch, and Fort Fisher.
Interesting change of environments. We used to do the opposite. Drive from James Madison University down to Hatteras on a Friday night hoping to score some waves. Then getting shaken awake at dawn by Ranger Rita, telling us we couldn't sleep on the beach. Good times.
I always use a GoPro when it's gonna be visually worth it... we just need them clean tubes :) I think we are in a good weather pattern finally, so hopefully more tunnel vision to come!
The GoPro has 2 180 degree lenses. It stitches the clips together internally, and the way it does it I cuts out the small area where the pole goes on purpose. If you don’t have the camera exactly straight up and down it doesn’t work. Pretty wild!

My wife and I are baffled. How do u edit out the selfie stick? Is it covered in green screen material. I don’t get it.
