    I cannot thank you enough. This has been one of the best Tableau videos I have seen. You hit the nail on the head. I can’t wait to implement what I learned from this video. Big Thank You!! I have created a Dashboard with about 2.6million rows and there is one quick filter that takes ~8seconds to open. Will see if your suggestions in this video help in shaving some seconds. Thank You again

      Yeah those quick filters can be a pain. Try to change it to an action if possible if not then play with context filters and making that filter show only context values.

    Great tips! I have a data source from tableau server that runs super slow, how can I improve performance on that?

    You just say to stay away from Blending, but we know that in Tableau when we have two tables from different sources, we don't use join but blend. Can you help me for this.

    • @vizualIntelligence
      @vizualIntelligence  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use a join from 2 different data sources but sometimes this causes problems such as duplication which a blend will solve that problem. So if you can use a join if not then try the blend because a blend aggregates the data then brings it in when a join brings it in row level then aggregates it.
