    Finally, I'm able to understand Americans when the speak :) ... By the way, I watched all your videos on your channel teacher Rachel and they really helped me to figured out many things about the English pronunciation. It's true that I still have my native accent when I speak English, but anyway, the important thing is that I speak clearly. Many thanks teacher and I wish for you the best forever.
    Best regards.

    Rachel , you should do a video explaining the expression "How do you do?'' when I can use, how use it etc

    • @cityhunterfan
      @cityhunterfan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jordana Souza "How do you do" is definitely more formal when used as a greeting. I use it when I'm meeting a prospective employer, at more formal social gatherings when I meet someone, or talking with someone older out of respect. Frequently, it's used like this:
      Ted - "Harry, this is Samantha"
      Harry - "Hello Samantha. How do you do?"
      or
      "Hello. I'm Samantha. How do you do?" There may also be handshaking at which point, any of the greetings above and below can be said while shaking hands.
      Sometimes, instead of saying "how do you do", we say "it's a pleasure to meet you" or "good to meet you", or pleased to meet you".
