The home of poet and lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri's entire film journey. Standing between pure Urdu poetry and commercial cinema, Majrooh Sultanpuri always kept both poetry and films separate.In 1945, Majrooh Sultanpuri had become a famous poet and in a Mushaira in Mumbai.
AR Kardar heard Majrooh Sultanpuri and became his admirer. And asked him to write a song for his film. Majrooh Sultanpuri did not like this and he refused at the same time that I would not write for films. The problem arose again. AR Kardar Jigar knew the relationship between Moradabadi and Majrooh Sultanpuri. He asked Jigar Sahib to explain to Majrooh Sultanpuri and told him to explain that fame is not everything. Wealth is also needed to run life. Jigar Moradabadi explained to Majrooh Sultanpuri,
At first Majrooh Sultanpuri refused Jigar Moradabadi Sahib. But he convinced them by telling them to give some pressure and take care of their needs. Then Majrooh Sultanpuri agreed to write songs in films. And then began the golden history of Hindi film songs, which could never be forgotten.With Lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri. In the political battle of ideology, lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri, who was the face of the first government of independent India, climbed on the chest of power against the dual policies of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, raised such a strong voice that the first Prime Minister of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The Boukhalai government sent lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri to jail. He wrote, scratching the face of the black mask of the dual policies of Pandit Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
When in entire Maharashtra no one had the courage to speak or say anything against Balasaheb Thackeray and probably not even today. The talk was scrapped. And Mumbai went on its
Everything has an end and this is what happened on 24th May 2000 when Majrooh Sultanpuri, the magician of words and the poet and lyricist who gave a new sense of romanticism to Urdu poetry, fell asleep forever. And left with us, such a window of his memory, which will always be hummed, which will always be sung, will be remembered in every generation of artistry...

आप का विडियो बहोत अच्छा लगा ये फन हरेक व्यक्ति को नहीं मिलता ये तो सिर्फ़ ईश्वर जिसे चाह्ता हैं उसी को मिलता है मजरुह ने एक ग़ज़ल लिखीं थीं हम है कुचाऐ बाजार कि तरहा उठथी है हर नजर खरीदार की तरहा इस ग़ज़ल लोगों का दिल जीत लिया था वैसे तो उनके सबभी प्यार भरे नग्मे दिल चीतने के काबिल है
मजरूह साहब ने सबसे लंबे पीरियड तक हिंदी फिल्मों में शानदार गीत लिखे। उनके लिखे हुए किसी किसी गाने की कोई लाइन सीधे दिल में उतर जाती है । जैसे मेरे हमदम मेरे दोस्त का वो गाना ( हुई शाम उनका खयाल आ गया ) का दूसरा स्टैंजा वही गम जिसे हमने किस किस जतन से निकाला था इस दिल से दूर , वो चलकर कयामत की चाल आ गया ।
और शर्मीली का ( कैसे कहें हम ) में ऐसी बजी शहनाई घर में सो न सके हम। कमाल , लाजवाब 👍👍

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very informative and certainly Majrooh Sahab never compromised all his life on his leftist, secular, anti imperialism, and nationalist principles. His not taking the highest film industry Dada Sahab Phalke award from the hands of Bala Sahab in 1993 has got etched in history. I am lucky to have met and spoke to him in a literary session held at Rizvi College in Khar in 1998. Sling with Majrooh was Kaifi Azmi Sahab there. I used to live in the flat allotted to me in Khadi Niwas within the JVPD Scheme on account of heading a National project for KVIC. By end of 1998 I migrated to Canada and feel lucky to have met two stalwarts in one meeting together. 💕💕💕🎯🎯🎯🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
