I install the crank bearings in my MS660 clone saw. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "Kubota BX Grading and Filling Hole" • Kubota BX Grading and ... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
Nice Bullitt. You removed synthetic dust covers from each bearing to remove pre-packed grease. What type grease will you use to pre-pack them? I was a bit concerned how sturdy the outer housing covers were before you pressed in the bearings. Nicely done. Thumbs up.
Yes, I removed the seal so the bearing was open and cleaned the grease out. Since the saw is a 2 cycle, the gas oil mix will lubricate the bearing. Thanks for watching.

Why do you degrease the bearings? Wouldn't you want to pack them with grease?
I making sure the bearings were clean. The gas/ oil mix keeps them lubricated.
heat the bearing housing and go self-press!
That will work too.
Do you have those part numbers?
The part numbers are here. www.diyspareparts.com/parts/stihl/diagrams/ms660-magnum/
Can you tell me NTN bearing part number for clutch side?
Thanks.
It is a 6203 bearing.
@@TractorTech
6203 is for flywheel side.
I am looking for NTN number for clutch side.
It is a proprietary bearing. You can get a cheap aftermarket bearing or an OEM.
@@TractorTech
Are you saying NTN doesn't make clutch side bearing for MS 660?
