Minh Cuong Nguyen it may be in DDR FESTIVAL, but this isn’t a boss song in any arcade game and there are some boss songs even easier than this. Entry level wise for 300, it's okay, but despite offset timing, Across The Nightmare is much better at showing to what a consistent 300 BPM looks like.
The good old days when Konami thought it was a good idea to make the challenge chart easier than the expert chart. This isn't even an isolated example, which makes it even funnier.

Sakura Standard/Heavy was on Extreme 2's Ultimate 12, but on World Map, it was Standard/Challenge. Then again, Challenge Difficulty was meant for those remixes exclusively for Courses, and not the leg breaker it's known for now.

They more likely had the X scale in mind when making SN2 and that's why they're like "F*** it, we're gonna throw the rating scale out the window by making these hard as or harder than MAX 300 charts as 9s (8 for Hades DIFFICULT), oh Uranus looks easy, let's throw them off by making it a 10."
massively. it was overrated in extreme as a 10 when it was easier than some 9s and even now it does not deserve to be a 13 (which, mind you, is the same rating as healing vision angelic mix). this is either an 11 or 12 and needs a new challenge chart. maybe the reason it was overrated was the slowdown (which isnt excessively bad) or the fact it was extra stage in IIDX
@@lovelymayapop I think what made people think this was such a hard song was because it's so fast and not many people are used to playing heavy 13s at this speed. But once you got the tempos down this song is a piece of cake.
It’s difficulty is up there in terms of PFCing this song. Passing difficulty this is a very easy 13 but on the PFC scale it’s one of the hardest if not the hardest 13s to PFC

While it's never reminded me of it, they both start at 300 bpm, have a slowdown in the middle, and switch to 320 bpm sometime after that.

the challenge version was intended to be played at 0.5x on a oni course if im not wrong. But still is a chart that didnt age well

Well, it was orignally rated as a 10 footer (15 in the modern DDR), so it make sense that its hard as a 13 footer (9 footer back then)

Arrabiata on heavy is harder. That isn't a 9....
I mean yeah, Sakura expert is a 13 (almost a 14) and Arrabiata expert is a 15. This is why they changed the scoring system to be out of 20.
