He's wearing a bandana around his neck to hide the wrinkles.He grew a beard to hide his jowls.He colored his beard to hide his age.He's obsessed with being relevant.He's obsessed with himself.He likes people talking about him.I feel sorry for him to a degree. Growing old gracefully is a gift he can't except.
If you're a 'real' Crue Head and are objective, have followed this band since their first record - you'd be objective and state Nikki is sometimes full of bullshit. His book is for me just so beyond illogical, ANYONE who's been a smackhead has only ONE thing they want 24/7 [scoring]. Not writing a book, Phil Lewis called Nikki out on this and boy did NS have a glass jaw. Nikki also has given contradicting reasons why he changed his name, he's said it was his drivers license where there digits were 'N6', but he then said this year it was due to a girlfriend he was with at the time who's boyfriend she was cheating on with Nikki had the name. So lotsa contradicting going on with Nikki.
The movie, given it's budget vs the telemovie on Leppard was also largely BS. The Leppard movie was so so more factually precise, especially going into great detail, many whom would not have been aware, of the bands genius Steve 'The Riffmaster' Clark's tragic treatment from his father, and Steve's need to please him which in the end, along with other key reasons saw Steve lose the will to live.
Also Nikki "if we ever re unite I will have SO much egg on my face". So if we cannot be judged on what we say/how we act objectively, well then why bother?
But Nikki is a wonderful example of a man who never stopped pushing as he says "the envelope" creatively and with his gifted lyrical ability. Or his relentless commitment to learning bass. Nikki, like Tommy has TDS sadly. Some of what he's tweeted, like the unhinged Bass who has the IQ of a brick - was utter rubbish. Silent as a church mouse on what the imbecile Biden is doing to America.
He moved for reasons more to do, like James Hetfeld, to escape the Newsom and Garcia extreme left Democrat policies. Not that Nikki'd admit this. A self made man is Sixx. Respect [even with his contradictory comments].

No man, it wasn't a money grab on the farewell tour 2014-2015...they were done & they knew it. However, we're all human & the movie came up, some songs were written & they even admitted to asking themselves "Did we retire too soon"?? The magic simply came back...shocked themselves man. It happens...& they are Not like KISS, who is a money grab. In 2000, I saw them & they lied to us...they just wanted to end Ace & Peter....with Motley it's completely different.
