Jim has changed the way my guys and company do business and how we dehydrate systems down super low and follow his notes and recommendations. It is amazing how their coil tools and Trublu hoses with the Fieldpiece VP87 8CFM pump will pull a system down. We will frequently do double or triple evacs in the amount of time, one evacuation would have taken on the old hoses and equipment. Saved time is a saved money and a better installation. As we all know, a quality installation will help keep the equipment functional longer. The science of it all is amazing.

Do you recommend vacuuming your designated vacuum hoses? I've been doing it & wanted to know if I'm wasting my time. I keep them sealed off when not in use

I asked this same question of Jim in another thread and the response I received was definitely vacuum your hoses and keep them sealed off when not in use. You are doing exactly what you should be and not wasting your time.
